  • This is hands down one of the best Budget LPVOs on the market. Good glass, 110ft of FOV at 100 yards, 17oz, great reticle, daylight bright illumination, and has taken all of the abuse that I have thrown at it. I have I have used it for 1000s of rounds of 5.56, close to 1000 rounds of .308, and some 7.62x39. The reticle is one of my favorites, very fast up close with the halfish horseshoe of death with a precise center dot and a simple BDC with wind holds out to 600 yards with a ranging feature for human sized targets. The BDC lines up good enough for first round impacts at 550 yards with 77graim SMK out of my 18.5" ACR and 16" AR15. Eye-box is very forgiving on 1x but does tighten up on its way to 8x, the turrets aren't great but they are set and forget so you don't have to use them very much at all. The added gen 2 throw lever is also quite nice, I applied some thread locker to it before installation and it hasn't moved since. Overall if you can find it with a mount for under $400 it's probably the best optic in that range.

I just bought mine and do not like it.im using it on my tavor 7,with the recoil if the scope or gun moves just a tick you get a black out on the scope.like parallax or not having the scope eye relief at the right spot.its very hard for me to adjust and get bullets on paper.i don't see how this is a $700 scope.id rather stick with sig tango series scopes that this thing.it could be me but I've never had any issues with other scopes.

You must've gotten a bad one. My brother has this and it's spot on. Call them and get a warranty replacement. They're good about their lifetime warranty.

Ordered this for Father’s day sale with Vortex cantilever mount to get better magnification over my Burris 1 x 4 mtac. It’s a nice scope, hash marks on reticle a little small but usable. The eyebox does feel pretty tight without much room to move at 8x, but I’m pretty sure I can get it dialed in on my rifle. At 1x it’s fine and the body/bezel (?) can be ignored with both eyes open for use in red-dot type applications. Probably more scope than I need, but the price enticed. Be aware if you’re a made in America type that this is made in PRC, but it still has Vortex’s warranty and doesn’t cost a grand.

To be clear, I wouldn’t have purchased this at full MSRP of 499 for scope and 70 for mount.

Ordered this Wednesday, it came Tuesday, it was well packaged, everything seem to be in order and working properly,
I have not tried it yet,(will update if something goes wrong) mounting it on a ArmaLite AR10 tactical 7.62nato/308.

Update: got it mounted and zero in, The elevation and windage turrets had distinct tactical clicks that you could hear and feel easily enough, The glass is very clear in my opinion and I had no problem with the reticle lighting up enough in this Texas sunlight, (some people online complain about the radical washing out in sunlight) I found if you keep it between setting 9 and 11 you’re just fine, and I was testing in the morning time facing the sun, and it also does come with spring-loaded scope covers,
I am overall pleased with it.

    Bad customer service
I made an order, they double ordered the scope and sent it out on a separate order # from the rest of my other order along with another scope. When I tried to get them to cancel the doubled ordered scope, which is their mess up, they said I would have to pay to return the unwanted item while the customer service agent argued with me about how it is my fault.
Stick with Primary Arms or some other company with better customer and online services

I had an order that they shipped to the wrong building number because they mislabelled the package. I never recieved the package and they actually hung up on me when I tried to resolve this. I will never buy from them again.

Wish I held out for this one. I paid $400 for mine without the mount.

I prefer the PA ACSS 1x8 SFP but for $299 with mount is a good price point for this LPVO.

The pun with the words trigger, grip, gun and bang are beyond played out. Does the gun community not have an ounce of creativity?

I think I need to get a grip. I got triggered reading this post. But on a side note, I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and buy this scope.

It’s about time someone took aim at the gun community. It was getting bad!

The real question is dis the eye relief get better at 8x magnification on the gen 2 model? The first models eyebox was more than tight with bad shadowing.

Glad I didn’t pull the trigger (no pun) on the Gen 1 sales over the last few weeks. Got me one as these Gen 2s will be sold out by tomorrow.

This is the brand new Gen 2; the Gen 1's are the ones that you usually see go down to $249 with a mount.
