Got this deal a couple months ago as well. I 100% agree that the eye relief and eye box are hot garbage. Hopefully Vortex release an upgrade or something within the next couple of years that is better. Maybe some magic with their warranty :)
I purchased this from PSA. I'm a prism fan, but this is a horrible scope. I am returning (PSA customer service is bad btw). The eye relief and eye box and very bad, even for a prism. The magnification is a joke. When I compared it to other prisms, burris and sig, they blew it away. Never mind when I compared it side by side with the Sig Tango LVPO. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $70 for the Sig Tango LVPO - its very much worth it.
