Anyone know how long it would take them to send gift card out?
It's $50 Off. Still a good deal. Not as good as diamondback hp
Is the $75 gift card deal done? I don't see as an option on their site anymore???
Just FYI it appears that you cannot have an ad-blocker running for the deal to show up on the page. White list the site or try a different browser.
Academy pulled all their "assault type weapons" off their shelves, why support a store like this?
Indeed, there's no logical explanation to justify supporting them. But doubtful a boycott will noticeably hurt them, just like the many other yellow belly companies that caved into irrational fear and liberal propaganda over the past few years. Just 1 more place to avoid forever on my list. Luckily for every such shameful company there are exceedingly many more and better places to do business with. If nothing else it is a personal moral victory to not shop there.
Boohoo. Now you can't buy overpriced ARs there. Probably never purchased one there before but here you are crying about liberal propaganda forcing them to stop selling. Gun people get butt hurt about the simplest things. Waaa this mfg thinks children under 10 shouldn't buy guns. Let's boycott them.
That's a great thing about this country, we all can decide what our own definition of 'logical' and 'moral victory' is. Me? I'm tickled to get a good scope at a price no other vendor can match, and you have your moral victory. Everyone wins!!!
So you're getting a decent product at a decent price and you effectively get half your money back as part of the deal. I'm in.
can someone point me to some decent mounts for this scope? going on ar15 rail. thanks
I found this one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/381605011419?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT...
I figured for under $30 it was worth a shot. If it turned out to be too flimsy I'd stick it onto an M&P 15-22. When it arrived I was very pleased with the quality & construction. This one's going onto an AR10 build this weekend.

How many gift cards can you receive? One per scope or no?
How does this compare to a Leupold VX-1?
Customers will not receive the gift card at the same time as receiving the scope via mail. Gift cards will be mailed to customer at the beginning of the next business week once the order has shipped
Correct. Got my card approx. 1 week after I got the scope.
Customer Service finally called me back. it will take 4-6 weeks to receive the $75 gift card via mail, but they committed to provide
I emailed customer service asking about the gift cards, it's been over a week with no response....sketchy.
I ordered on June 1st and got it the next day, very impressed! But did not come with a gift card or any mention of it.
Buyer beware. Site would not let me add to cart, had to add to wish list then from wish list add to cart. From there I could complete the checkout process but no where did I receive any mention or confirmation of a gift card. I guess I could always return in store if I don't receive card.
Received a FedEx tracking confirmation today that gift card is on the way.
If you look directly under the price it says in red that free shipping for orders over $25. directly under that in blue it says:
Receive a $75 Academy Gift card by mail with purchase
This is right above the blues out sections with the description.
On the mobile page it also has it in order of Price, free shipping and then in blue on a white background Receive a $75 Academy Gift card by mail with purchase
CF2-31005 is the part number of the scope, there are several other listings on the Academy website that are 3-9x40 crossfire scopes that are NOT eligible for the Academy card. CF2-31007 is not eligible though it is the 3-9x40 crossfire.
Looked at the sight, no mention of free $75 gift card.
Look at the top of the page:

It doesnt show in the mobile page for me, but did in the full feature page.
I have three vortex scopes, one I bought, and two that came on a couple rifles. I have not found a comparably priced Nikon, Burris or Leupold that does not have better glass. Each to their own, but I just don't get the Vortex hype.
