100 lumen isn't enough to be very effective - 200 might be better.
I have 250 and for walking the house - its a bit bright. I wish these lights either had an automatic aperture or a good electronic brightness control. LEDs are getting much better but I still don't want to be blinded by my own light reflecting off of a close wall while searching.
But green laser by itself...? love it. They give off enough light in the room that you can actually see pretty well.
Tempting at this price, but all those negative Amazon reviews scare me. Stripping threads by changing the battery being a big concern. Anyone know if there is a "Gen 2" in the pipeline that would address some of the issues?
