We will start carrying a shim kit for that reason.
Be careful putting this type of trigger in a MP15-22. If you over tighten the two screws they will damage the receiver by the trigger. The receiver is a plastic. I found out the hard way.
I installed 4lb one on my Spike's Tactical mid-length 16 inch. I also have Timney 3lb trigger on Armalite 18 inch 3 gun rifle. The Velocity trigger has just a tiny bit take up before it breaks cleanly. I did not noticed that take up on Timney. For price difference I would rather have Velocity.
Not trying to SPAM here but has anyone compared this to the POF (PATRIOT ORDNANCE FACTORY) Trigger? I've read great things on these and a few on the POF's too.

The above works fine, has an average pull of 4.4# on my trigger pull gauge. It does, however, have a tiny bit of noticeable creep compared to the Velo trigger (in my anecdotal sample). And I do mean tiny. If you are moving from a mil-spec AR trigger to the POF you probably won't notice it. If you are used to using other aftermarket FCGs, it is noticeable.
I usually use CMC drop-ins, but I pick up other package FCGs to try out now and then. The POF was one of those, as was the Velo (and a small corral of others). The POF is now in my boy's 15-22. Those blow-back .22 ARs beat the hell out of triggers and it has been running without issue.
I have POF's standard trigger in my P415, and I wouldn't swap it out for any other drop-in on the market. It's a dream to shoot.

Just got another to see how it will work in a Sig 716.
This trigger seems to be made better than some of the other triggers. This is just like a Timney in the way it is installed. Test it out this weekend.
In one word, GOOD. I can't tell the different between the Timney and this trigger. Timney is in trouble. You will like this trigger. Do not use any lock tight on it.
Why get this when one can get a LaRue MBT for less? No way.
