I really do not see this being useful in any car, truck, SUV, or motorhome I've ever owned. You are literally better off screwing a normal holster to the center console or under the steering column and saving $20 with MUCH better retention in case of an accident.
Yep, I got a cheap plastic/Kydex holster (for left hand, if you are shooting right hand) < $20 and screwed it to the center console. It secures the pistol much better.
