Description

The UTS-15 tactical shotgun is a 12 ga. pump action shotgun with two 7-round alternately feeding or selectable magazine tubes, that measuring 28.3” in overall length with a 18.5” barrel chambers for 2 3/4” and 3” magnum ammunition. Constructed primarily of fiber reinforced injection molded polymer the UTS-15 weighs only 6.9 lbs, for quick pointing and easy handling. The top mounted picatinny rail allows for the mounting of a wide variety of both iron and optical sights, which coupled with Beretta style barrel threading for choke tubes allows the UTS-15 to adapt to any situation (sights and choke tube pictured not included).

In the UTAS design studio the firearms design team works with a 3-D CAD / CAM computer engineering program to bring a firearms concept to virtual reality. Once individual parts have been fully conceptualized within the computer program, UTAS engineers evaluate the part and recommend the manufacturing process and material. Consequently, all firearms are developed in a team approach that integrates design, engineering and manufacturing to produce the best gun for its intended use. Born from this team approach to manufacturing, the UTS-15 is a unique pump-action shotgun of only 29” overall length for quick pointing functionality in the woods or for protection at home, and with a 15 round capacity and dual selectable magazines provides the opportunity to instantly pick the load to best fit the situation. A optional built-in LED spotlight and laser night-sight provides point-and-shot capability, while fiber reinforced polymer construction ensures the UTS-15 will keep working no matter how rough the situation. Whether in the field or in the home there’s nothing faster than the UTS-15.

Choke Tube, Laser/Light Combo, Front and Rear Sights, 7 1/2" Barrel Extension, Canvass Bag and Red-Dot Sight are also available.

Wow make up your mind on pricing. First it is a self promoting post here advertising for $1185, then you click on your link and the page shows an icon for the UTS-15 for $1299 then when you click on the link surprise the gun is $1599. This deal if it ever was one is dead.

Haha.. you were being serious! And the icing on the cake? It says "SORRY ITEM UNAVAILABLE" when you order.
Oh! And keep in mind that $1599 is bare and before shipping

I've never seen a company work so hard to sabotage themselves.. Regardless of how bad of reviews a company gets from a person, I usually try them out for my self - everybody deserves benefit of the doubt - especially small companies - but I can honestly say I think this is one company I will probably never deal with.

I have done business many times with Weapon Enhancement Solutions and I live locally near the shop. I can assure anyone here on gun.deals that has an interest in doing business with WES Guns that they are a sound company and will do right by you. I have had many online transfers processed through the shop and I have purchased from the showroom as well as had custom work done on several rifles. I have never had a single problem or complaint. In fact it's been a pleasure, and I prefer this shop over most in my local area.

Its good to know they didn't treat you the way they treated me. I guess that explains why they aren't out of business yet. They need to work on being consistently good with all customers. Not good with some and crappy with others. They lost my business and I even gave them a second chance to earn it back.

The only reason I was willing to pay the $200 more they are asking for the same gun sold $200 less elsewhere is they lied and said they were in stock. And they lied and said they would ship it to me on Monday. Then they lied and said they would ship it to me on Wednesday. Then they lied again and made up stories about just getting the guns in that day, that my FFL had a MagicJack or some other nonsense they could think up, including the latest one that they only ship on Thursdays and Fridays? Clearly this is not a full time job. My FFL ships every day except Sunday, just like every online business. So, they want to charge me more, make me wait and lie to me about it and make up excuses? I don't think Amazon would be as big as they are if they treated their online sales similarly. Sorry, all Amazon orders only ship on Thursdays and Fridays and we'll only tell you this after you placed your order and we've stalled you with excuses for over a week on why it hasn't shipped yet.. Good luck with that business model.

I've never seen a company charge so much more for a product, lie about it, and then decline the opportunity to make it right. It doesn't make sense and I predict they won't be around a year from now. They ordered 30 of these guns and still have 25 left two weeks later? What's wrong with this picture? If my FFL had 30 of these guns, they would've been sold by the next day (without price gouging, or insulting the customers intelligence). No excuses - just business.

But this is America and they have the right to run their business any way they want.

I just noticed this was a dealer posting, so I have to ask.. what makes this UTS-15 worth almost $220 MORE than the other deal for the same game posted earlier? I admittedly don't know a ton about the different variations of this gun, which is why I ask..

Also, I've noticed a lot of dealers posting "deals" for their wares priced above retail, for no other reason than an attempt at free advertising.. and that DESTROYS sites like this..because it's the exact opposite of what they were designed for.
I'm definitely not saying that's the case here - it's actually the opposite - I'm just trying to clear things up so other people like me know why one is so much more than the other.

Any one else pick up on the open tube design of the twin tubular magazines? Remember the French WW I light MG called the Chauchat? And it's tendency to pick up mud and jam in the open crescent shaped magazine? Would need some dedicated study for me to see how this might effect the weapon's performance. Regards

We at WESGUNS cannot control what someone wants to post. Howver, after getting a refund the same person requested to buy another UTAS from us 3 days later. If you own a Magicjack phone and the number does not work!!! It's not our fault if we can not communicate with your FFL holder.

Actually, you can control it. If you do what you say you are going to do, the customer would have no motive to complain. What kind of a businessman blames the customer?

My FFL does not own a MagicJack phone and why would you need to call them? They faxed you their FFL info, what else is left to discuss? I've ordered a dozen firearms in the last year from deals posted here on gun.deals and not once has any business needed to call me or my FFL to complete the purchase. And if you were trying to contact my FFL, this is the first I've heard of it. Besides, you also had my phone number, which you successfully called previously (I still have the voicemail saved), so if you had a legit reason to contact my FFL by phone and were not able to do so, why wouldn't you call me to verify you had the right number or try to get in contact with me or my FFL by email?

I only contacted you through email to give you a second-chance at earning my business and to make this right with me. You did not respond, so I took my business elsewhere. The excuses continue from 'we only ship on Thursdays and Fridays' to you 'can't reach my FFL?' You want a shovel? You're just proving my point and digging yourself in deeper. This is exactly what I am warning people about. If you put as much effort into making things right with your customers, as you do on making up excuses why its not your fault, I imagine you'd have more and happier customers.

It's these kinds of poor excuses that I had to deal with. So, if you're reading this and thinking of ordering one of these guns, ask yourself what's in it for me to take the time to post this message? I'm not the one looking to make a profit here. Just as I have posted here at gun.deals about all of my other previous firearms purchases (which were all positive) I am doing nothing but the same here.

I have no way to know how WesGuns will treat you if you choose to purchase from them. All I can do is can share my experience with you. Then you can make your decision. I don't stand to gain a thing one way or the other.
