Trijicon factory mounts RM33 and RM34 are around $100 each. That’s why these UTGs are popular.

UTG is a great company and these mounts are great. I'm impressed with UTG's product pricing considering the quality is terrific and many of their products are made in Michigan.

So $500 for the optic and $15 on the mount? Might work but feels like putting ketchup on porterhouse.

Whats wrong with ketchup. Would you rather have A1 ?

Would you rather have A1 or Heinz 57 ?

It is a piece of aluminum. I'm pretty sure you would be safe. You don't need to spend $40+ on something like that. Hell, ebay has them for $12.99 shipped.

Lol, I originally bought the set so I could cheaply test the rmr out on different guns just to see how well I would like it. I was impressed! Though it didn't work out well for what I originally wanted to try it on (a 22 pistol), I found it worked great on my ar9 pistol.

Of all the budget companies UTG is probably the best. Some of their finishing is a little too satin-ish feeling but otherwise they’re pretty good. Just watch out for stripping screws.

well, so far this hi mount is doing just fine, it has 3 dogs to engage the rail besides the 2 fasteners, the actual mounting area for the rmr is square and wriggle free, finish is good, not bulky any where tightens up just fine, time will tell I guess

I had mine mounted to a 9mm AR for a year now, no problems yet. I think you will be fine.

These are pretty low quality. I got one for free with an rmr. I see why it was free. If you are spending 400 on an rmr get a good mount

I have a set of these and think it's actually pretty decent, what's the issue with the quality?
