I have this sight (ncstar branded).
I wouldn't get it. Flipping the sight up and down causes a pin on it's right side to loosen and eventually fall out.

I've used them, they are ok, all metal. Personally, I prefer the UTG rear sight that lloks like the back of the carry handle and is fixed. It stays up and is co-witnessed to the EoTech or other red dot sight. I have Magpuls on some rifles as well and they are fine too. I do believe that Magpuls are overpriced being plastic and all vs. Metal. Also, there is a huge price difference in the regular magpuls vs their PTS line, why? The difference in plastics can't be that much.

has anyone added? Made of aluminum vs. plastic. Quality? Problems?

They're not plastic, but they are bulky. The magpul sights get posted on her quite often at good pricing. I'd wait or search around for a good priced rear.

I had a set, sent back because the front and rear sights were not level with each other. they are metal, and bulky.
