i have not used this light, but suggest if you're thinking about buying this: Check out the Nebo (search on amazon, it's the same price)
The Nebo has a knob with a slot in it that you can adjust and tighten to different sized ralis. These spring-loaded ones aren't as secure, and won't fit certain rails.
The Nebo is not going anywhere once you tighten it, and I've never met a rail it wouldn't fit.
