Ordered 4 of these. First two arrived to my FFL/Gunsmith within 2 days, speedy fast delivery. Upon receipt, my Gunsmith noted that one of them had deep engraving of initials on the frame, the other had severe cylinder bearing/indexing problems. Thank God for a good FFL/Gunsmith. Reported this to the folks over at SOSS (make sure to leave messages and send emails, they are very busy and sometimes hard to get in touch with). They were happy to take them back at their expense offering an exchange or refund. They promised to hand pick some that had minor scratches/mechanically excellent as described in their ad. Will report back once the deal is done.

I just received one of these I ordered. I was VERY happy with the quality. A few little nicks and scratches, but the gun functions absolutely perfectly. In my opinion a GREAT deal for the money.

Update: I recieved a model 64-6 square butt. It is PRE Smith and Wesson Internal Lock System which makes me very happy. Mine has a frame mounted firing pin. It's in great condition better than the pictures on the website show. I cleaned it up with some mothers mag polish and am very impressed. It's a good stainless steel gun for 250 dollars. There are a few minor nicks around the trigger guard which is to be expected with a police trade-in and could be lightly sanded out if I felt the need. It had a small amount of rust under the uncle mikes grips however it was surface rust and the mothers mag polish removed all of it. Double action trigger is stiff, single action is crisp and light.

Ive put 100 rounds through it so far and I would definitely recommend picking one up.
