Junk. These are not on the APEL. I have no clue why these exist and I have been in for 21+ years. I have never seen them issued or used by anyone. I would stay away.
Also, be suspicious of anything SG calls "surplus." Anything that could even be remotely linked to the military in any way is suddenly "issue" and "military surplus" to them.
