Ah yes, Canik the gun that will never find a single magazine for.....
Caniks rock. I bought 3 of the four best triggered striker fired guns. Today I was comparing the triggers in terms of take up, break and reset length. My TP9SF has a better trigger than my PPQ and VP9, in that order. The ergonomics are in line with both of those guns as well, just less aggressive in terms of form fit. I've shot alot of striker fired guns (Almost 70% maybe?), and I appreciate this gun more everyday, after owning it for a year. So much so, that I will likely be buying a TP9SFX for my full size gun. I need to shoot a CZ P10f first.
I agree "mostly". The Caniks are excellent guns at often unbeatable value. I have only had two but yes they certainly are well made, great triggers and just cool. Now I will say that my VP9 will not, any time soon be replaced as my duty weapon by a Canik or really anything else I own. I just cant trust anything else in my collection with my life as I do my VP9. Call it whatever... Ive just trained and carried it for 4 1/2 years now and it is part of me now. My VP9 Is like butter to shoot, uber reliable and smack down pin point accurate. It fits me like an old pair of well broken in jeans. I love everything about it.
I remember when you could pickup a SF for under 300. Those days are gone forever. I agree about the vp9. I don't carry it but love the way it shoots at the range. I currently have the DA/SA canik. I don't shoot it much, but its a keeper for sure.
Yeah i bought my first Canik Elite tp9sf for 261! Im about to buy another for 279 and take off 10% for coupon at my local academy sports. I cant believe its in stock
Keep looking, I've picked up plenty and reasonably priced. Plus, if you buy multiple Canik versions, you'll have the extras you need.
