I wonder what barrel length they’re rated for? Seems like a good round, but I’m skeptic it’s not much better than +p gold dot/flex tip load. Shooting through heavy clothing or light cover however, I could see how this would be a good option.

This is such a different and odd style of bullet. Almost take the hollowpoint self defense style round ans turns it inside out or a reverse print.
I am intrigued but is this legit super self defense ammo or simply a gimmick? Anyone shoot this stuff? im curious about the ballistics, the bullet deformation upon impact, wound channel and how it shoots into ballistic gel. I dont see how this bullet, with this shape could mushroom and expand like other self defense rounds. I would also be concerned about stability in flight? opinions or experiences?
