I don't understand why you would buy this when Freedom Munitions has 9mm reman for $184.67 for 1000 rds or $92.34 for 500 rds. They use to do free shipping for new customers, but shipping is not unreasonable. I usually wait for free shipping deals or $5 shipping that comes every 2 or 3 weeks. In stock as I write this.
That and the freedom is metal jacketed, rather than this dirty stuff.
I have about 14k Freedom Munitions rounds on hand right now, it's great stuff.
No free shipping coupons kills it for me. :(
You can use code SH1084 for free shipping, but you must add a filler to use it. Click the coupon link above to add a $5 filler to your cart.
still charging 5$ more for heavy shipping. when did 30lbs become heavy ?
It's a small box, so the shipping truck ends up weight limited with more space for boxes, which hurts profits.
And how do you explain the fact that other retailers don't have to charge similar fees for comparable products?
There is no good answer to the above question. Sportsman's guide uses a classic scheme employed by American retailers. They continuously offer low-value coupons to entire uniformed consumers, and then they add in hidden fees or raise their prices to maintain a substantial profit margin with inferior products. Meanwhile, decent retailers like Freedom Munitions, Cabelas, etc, provide better products, and better coupons, without shitty members fees or at-checkout charges for bogus services.
Bought some of this about 3yrs ago in .40. Shot it out of a Glock23 cycles fine but is very dirty! And the smoke plume is bad. Any rappid fire more that 3rds you will have to pause to let smoke clear so you can see the target again.
Buyers beware! I had a case rupture on this ammo and it damaged my gun.
