If these are 28 bucks why is a threaded barrel for a Glock 44 $160?
The $28 Glock barrels are aftermarket. The G44 barrels you've looked at are probably OEM/factory barrels. Here is the only aftermarket G44 barrel I'm aware of and it aint cheap: https://www.preppergunshop.com/free-reign-glock-44-22lr-threaded-barrel... - I've never heard of that brand before. Personally, if I was in the market for one I'd spend the additional $25 or so and get an OEM barrel. If there was a bigger call for the barrels more aftermarket companies would manufacture them and the price would be lower.
Just ordered this same barrel from their sister site Dvor and it was only $28.00 with free shipping. After tax it was $29.68 out the door. Free shipping weekend.
I ordered two from Optics Planet. They shipped it via DHL. Needless to say, it is floating around in the midwest and I probably won't see them until Christmas. DHL in my area stinks .......
DHL is horrid everywhere. I hate using Optics Planet just because they use DHL!
Yes, I ordered Nov 25th, and have yet to get it.DHL Tracking shows it was handed off to another delivery method, and stops there. Never again.
I'm not a fan of DHL either. One of two products I ordered from Optics Planet's sister site Dvor 2 or 3 days ago was shipped via DHL. DHL hands off shipments to USPS for delivery. If you go to the DHL tracking page for the shipment and click to expand the "More Shipment Details" on the page you should see the "Local Tracking Number" shown there. For further updates, track that "Local Tracking Number" on the USPS website.
Does anyone have experience with this barrel? Difficult to find first hand accounts of this company and its Glock barrels.
I don't have any experience with them, but I know that 'Trybe' is is an in-house brand of Optics Planet. I don't know who actually manufacturers the barrels.

I ordered 3 of their threaded barrels on Friday. I figured I'd do a cheap Dagger build or something similar, has anyone tried Combat Armory's clone frames? They had them for $60 without the trigger assembly and parts kit.
Combat Armory clone 19 frames are gtg so far as I'm concerned. Their barrels, not so much.
I just ordered Trybe Glock 20 threaded barrel from OP. The reviews were not too good. I know some feed ramp polishing will be in-order, but for the price it seems worth it.
Honestly out of the 3 barrels I have from combat armory,2 of them had to have the feed ramp and the mouth smoothed out because it would not chamber a round to save my life.My 23 barrel,perfect.These guys are great and have super customer service.I wouldn't hesitate to buy more barrels from them in the future.
Thanks for the input. I haven't had any experience with their barrels, I just know the price is good. I have a couple of their Warhammer charging handles and like 'em. They were great to deal with for me as well.
EDIT: I also have a complete AR upper I bought from them years ago that continues to serve me well.
