Does it For for pt111?

Does not get good reviews even for $50.00. The output of this laser is low. It's cheap for a reason

Anyone have any real experience with these on a 9mm and/or .45 cal pistol? Seems like a fair price, and I'm in the market to acquire a laser of this magnitude for one, if not two of my pistols. Just don't want to compromise any quality or reliability for price. Thanks in advance for your time and input on my inquiry!

I've got one on a PT111 Taurus, If your using this for a defensive handgun and would be most likely taking shots at distances under 10 yards or so it does what it needs to do, The only thing I recommend is being extremely careful when torquing it on the gun, it is very easy to strip the included screw.
It doesn't work very well outside during the day (up close is fine) but in any lower light situations it works fine, I would not pay any more than this for one.
It is very well built IMO

Agreed with everything you said, I have one that is stripped and currently needs some Loctite. During the day, pretty much useless as it is dimmer than other lasers due to its very small size and weight. This is a niche unit, for very small carry guns with a rail, where business is done at 7yds or less, and is extremely useful in low light or nighttime conditions. Its the perfect mate for my Keltec PF9.
