How do you defend yourself if you don't have this type of gun AND you live in NY or CT? These types of guns are the only ones that the laws in those states allow? You get familiar handling and quick magazine changes - even with 10 round mags.

I don't get why people in free states take a look at something that isn't meant for them and proceed to bash it...whether it's an SCR or a PAR it's not MEANT for people in free states and the idea that they are actively trying to destroy gun rights makes no sense. They are trying to make sure that people CAN have an AR platform rifle no matter what state they live in, and that should be commended not condemned. Ideally we wouldn't need to be creative like this, but unfortunately gun culture is fighting to make a resurgence right now, and law makers are fighting to smother it in the crib.

Additionally you can buy the PAR in Canada by the looks of it which is huge for our maple syrup drinking neighbors.

One question.. WHY???? What the hell is the advantage of having to pump your AR between rounds like a shotgun? I see absolutely ZERO advantage in this setup? your follow up shots would be shit because you could not hold target as you pump the rifle and the speed is also reduced.... just crap in
