Description

The Troy BattleMag is one of the best polymer magazine in the world – hands down. The BattleMag is engineered to function flawlessly with all M4, M16/AR15, HK416® and FN SCAR® rifles and carbines. An aggressive scale pattern provides the ultimate magazine grip in dirty or wet conditions. A bolstered floor plate is set flush to eliminate the BattleMag from catching on other magazines or creating unnecessary bulk when stacked or pulled from a pouch. The reinforced feed lips and anti-tilt follower do not require a clamp to keep the feed lips from spreading when kept loaded for extended periods of time. Made from improved Troy proprietary military-grade, chemical, biological and impact resistant polymer and extensively tested by Special Ops units, the Troy BattleMag outperforms all other polymer magazines in functionality and reliability.

If you are a gun store buying in bulk or are a mag hoarder / 'investor' this is a great deal. If you want less than 10 so-so mags this is luke warm

If you buy in serious bulk, this is a great deal. 500 mags works out to 5.21 per mag. Of course, who needs that many mags?

BEWARE! Looks like a great deal but they make up for it on the shipping.... $17 to ship 5 magazines makes them just over $10 each so it's $3 per mag for shipping.

Yep always the same deal with J&G. Always looks like a good deal until shipping.

Comments below swayed my choice. Just bought some. 11 mags shipped USPS priority to Central Florida was $100.49 ($9.75 shipping and $6.59 tax) for a PPM of $9.14

edit: Was pleasantly surprised that every mag came with a pull tab that can be installed on the bottom for easy pulling from pouches:

Southeast Outfitters shipped these too me quickly. Ship 7 mags for $66 total for around $9 a piece. Never tried Troy battle mags before. Saw a guy shoot one with a 5.56 round on YT reload it to 27 rounds and empty it again twice down range with a gaping hole in the side of it. Figured that was a reasonable destruction test to give them a try.

Good mags. Like em on par with p mags, and they are thinner, so maybe even like em more. Wish I liked the company, but they do about everything evil a company can. I soothe my concscience by paying the cheapest price possible. 7-8 is o.k at 5 I'd get more

Wow that's steep! For me it was 9.96 for 5

Shipping killed this for me. $16 for five mags

Thank you that helps a lot. I like the idea of them being a little slimmer.

Can anyone tell me how these compare to p mags or hexmags as far as quality? I have pmags but was debating on trying some different ones out.

These are good quality, I have never had any issues and run them with my pmags all the time. I honestly prefer the pmags as they are a little thicker and the lip on the bottom of the mags provide a more secure purchase on the mag, but battlemags do fine. They will also fit in tighter mag pouches than the pmags as well (I often run them behind the pmags in a double pouches because they are a little slimmer). Hope it helps!

These are my favorite mags, just ordered 5, came out to $8.80 each with shipping which I think is a pretty good deal

Update: Ordered these on the 26th at 11:00 pm and had them at my door on the 29th around 3:00 pm. Ill pay the "horrible shipping prices" to have them that fast and still for the good price they were.

PSA had them for $4.99 last year
That was a deal. This is still a decent
Deal

Now this is a deal, $8.16 (shipping added in) out the door per mag for 6 mags... You can't beat that and if you can, well then more power to you.

Shipping prices blow, no thanks.

I think shipping prices are decent, that's my opinion. Even with shipping, this is a wholesale price, or below wholesale. I don't like the first 2 comments here because they upvoted their own comments. tacky. :)
