UPPER: Barrel: 16" 4150CMV, chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 profile barrel and a carbine length gas system. The M4 profile barrel is melonite QPQ, salt bath nitride coated. I have 5 Ar's 3 which are budget and the Triton is by far the best rifle for the price. I actually like the rail better than my Seekins.
My Radical 7.62x39 is a jam machine. 1 out 10 casings stick and have to be tapped out with a cleaning rod.

I’ve had the midlength version of this rifle for 2 months. The fit and finish is amazing, the hand guard is a beauty, and the rifle is pretty damn accurate. I couldn’t be happier with my first rifle.

Actually it is, if you were to do a little research you would find DOA Arms and Triton Mfg under the same address.... additionally if you went to our site instead of trolling, you would see it clearly say 6.8 lbs, like it always has.
Why did you remove the weight in the description you posted here? Seems like a pretty important part of the description considering it is "ultra light." You posted it exactly word for word like you have it on your site, yet you removed the weight.
Also, why did you change the title to "light weight" instead of "Triton V2 MLOK Ultra Light Rifle" like you have on your site?
And again, 6.8lbs is not light at all. It is the same weight as plenty of stock, railed ARs out there.

For some people that that are absent the ability to modify an AR, rifles like this make sense. As this particular rifle has what an entry level to intermediate AR owner would want.
Often, a friend or an acquaintance will buy a dependable Del-Ton Echo variant for sub <$400 Then, they might have me put in a free float rail, and a better stock, and sometimes a better trigger.
But if they just bought one of these Tritons that have the upgrades you'd find on a decent entry to mid level AR at a fair price. (I would be spending more time fishing or shooting, and less time upgrading and giving lessons on AR upgrading for friends and acquaintances)
I keep a lot of extra detents and springs, a lot of people give up on modifying an AR after they try to change a pistol grip and the detent and spring go airborne. ( I always go out of my way to show them how, rather than do it) In my shop I have a electromagnetic catchment system so if I show them how to do it, and they try and fail, the parts don't go far)
To be fair, I've never owned an AR with Triton parts on it. Not sure why people are giving this merchant such grief, I happen to know DOA is a conscientious and honorable merchant, as these guys weren't to far from where I was stationed at Eustis/Langley
...it's not like they're hooligan merchants like Cheaper than Dirt, or my arch nemesis Botach. Both these entities lost their moral compasses long ago.

Drool over the hand guard. You know one of the most critical components of an ar. Damn I missed out on a good hand guard.
A friend of mine bought one and asked me to go thru it for him. You know, make sure the gas block is matched up to the gas port, the barrel nut is installed correctly, so on and so forth. It was well assembled and has since been thru a couple thousand rounds. Turned out to be 100% reliable and quite accurate as well. I think the price is decent for what you get and wouldn’t hesitate to buy one.
I'm extremely happy with my triton rifle from these guys. Great build quality, no issues, and my AR-snob friends all drool over the handguard. :)

BTW, this rifle isn't lightweight at all. The Colt CCU (6960) weighs less than this thing as do a lot of standard configuration ARs.

I have this rifle. Bought it a few months ago and have put around 1000 RDM through it so far and not a single malfunction. Put a red dot and iron sights on it and it’s been great would buy again. Came with a nice soft case and 1 magazine.
I've been interested in this rifle for some time. Maybe the coolest handguard out there. But I can find almost no reviews on this rifle. So I can't buy this at a higher price than better known brands . I'll have to wait for reviews to come in, though I might take the risk at a lower price point.

This rifle will accept any trigger that fits a milspec lower. I.E. Black Rain, POF, Geissele, Timney, Rise Armament, CMC, Rock River, ALG and others.
Seems like an excellent deal. Looking to get a trigger group down the road. Will it work in this?
Great Deal, I bought this from DOA online here about 6 months ago. Shipped fast and came in a nice case. This Rifle for the price is great! I have put over 1000 rounds through it and love it. I have made some upgrades to improve which only adds to the value. This is a great AR to start out on and later upgrade it you want. Plus the rail looks killer. My AR Snob buds love shooting this as well and are impressed. Pull the trigger and get this one.
