You ever owned a pt111? I have owned several and everyone have ran absolutely flawless with ANY TYPE of ammo, steel, brass, aluminum, self defense, fmj, etc. They are Uber reliable and YES I'd trust my life to it. For the money and anyone in a tight financial spot but wanting a self defense weapon the pt111 is a perfect choice
I own a t-120 and I love it. I get the reliability and accuracy of a CZ for a few hundred less. I changed the grips and installed a better mainspring, as these are compatible with the majority of CZ parts, and it was still cheaper than a brand new CZ. The only negative I have, with just under 1K flawless rounds (Brass, aluminum, steel cased ammo, all ran great) the Cerakote finish is not very durable.
You trust your life on a Taurus? Thats messed up dude
Is this a deal??
Been as low as $335 with free shipping (but 3% CC fee) from Kentucky Gun Co.
I "need" a new nightstand firearm, prefer 9mm (cheap ammo) or 45acp (I have a lot of it).
• I prefer SA, hammer-fired handguns.
• prefer metal body over poly
• have heard great things about CZ-75 replicas
• have heard amazing things about TriStar /EAA quality
However...
• this thing is HEAVY
• I'm not sure if the price is a great deal (I'm in no rush)
• I could pick up a pt-111 for $200...(yes, I know it is damn near the opposite of what I said I liked)...but $200?!?
Hello Breakfast,
Eat your Wheaties and the weight of the gun should no longer be a problem LOL
Just a thought, looks like a CZ 75 replica.
Had one. Trigger wasn't that good. Modern striker guns are better designs. And better triggers.
