Developed to improve precision and accuracy with any style or caliber of weapon, the Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) is designed to be as durable as the legendary ACOG. The RM08 is a battery free sight, featuring Trijicon fiber optics and tritium. Housed in rugged forged aluminum, the RMR is extremely tough yet lightweight. New easy-to-use adjusters with audible clicks allow for quick windage and elevation adjustments. The Trijicon RMR is tougher than any alternative and suitable for military, law enforcement and hunting applications. The small size and rugged design makes the Trijicon RMR adaptable to many weapon platforms, including pistols.
12.9 MOA DUAL-ILLUMINATED RMR: Tritium-phosphor lamp illuminates reticle in low-light conditions and fiber optics automatically adjust the brightness level and contrast to available light conditions
UNIQUE PATENTED HOUSING SHAPE: Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum-alloy housing shape diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, greatly increasing the durability of the sight
TRUE-COLOR MULTI-COATED LENS: Creates a wide-band light transmission for minimal change in target area color
ADJUSTABLE WINDAGE / ELEVATION: Easily adjustable without special tools. 1 MOA per click
VERSATILE SIGHT: Multiple primary applications including rifle, pistol, shotgun and carbine, or use as a secondary sight with a magnified optic

This RMR is the worst one. Ok for outdoor at the range but not for defensive purposes. It needs a fair amount of light to work and washes out when shooting from dark to light.
Had this optic but the washout made it useless as anything more than a 100% outdoor sight. If you have any intention on using this on a defensive pistol, carbine or shotgun. Don't waste your money, get the LED version or an Aimpoint. Sold mine and spent the extra money on the LED version.
This is a really good deal for these. The 12.9 Moa triangle is the best reticle for the dual-illuminated series. Using a ballistics calculator, you can easily adjust the point of impact to the tip of the triangle for point blank, and the bottom of the triangle for a known maximum distance at the range.
All of the rumors you hear about the dual-illuminated series washing out are true, no matter what color the reticle is. But don't let that scare you, I use this as a primary optic for small game hunting, and it is very effective.
The reticle is not as bright as a laser or led unit, which also makes picking up the reticle (mounted on a pistol) somewhat difficult without additional backup sights, or (in case of a rifle) a good cheek weld. The 12.9 MOA size is actually still quite small, I cant imagine how difficult it would be to use a smaller reticle quickly.
I have my green reticle unit mounted on a ruger 10/22 with no backup sights, and I can quickly and easily find the "dot" (triangle) because of the natural point of aim that you get with a rifle. I tried it mounted on a pistol with no backup sights to reference from on initial aiming, and found it very difficult to locate the reticle without bringing my eye right up to the sight to initially find the reticle.
If you want to use this as a primary optic on a rifle, it will be a very fast targeting sight as long as you mount it as far back as possible. Remember, these are designed to be used with both eyes open, and give you almost a video game style of aiming point in your field of view.
If you want to use this on a pistol, you need to have backup sights that you can quickly and naturally use as a reference to guide the reticle into view. Night sights will only confuse you if you try to use them with this, especially an illuminated front sight in the same color.
We'll see. Probably a price mistake, but I ordered one (RM08G). I already have the amber triangle one and can deal with its limitations. For $350 the green one is a steal.
Sure it is. I just added it to my cart. It's simply out of stock right now. It'll ship when it goes back in stock. For that price, it's worth waiting for...
This is getting ridiculous.....12.9 moa
