On Amazon, there are always reviews that say the high end optics are fakes. It's not worth it to me, to save a couple bucks.
The price is certainly not "shipped" as Amazon charges taxes in many states now.
I bought an acog on Amazon before for a great price. Apparently opticsplanet sells through Amazon and occasionally will sell the scopes on sale. But the moment I bought one the price went up $100. If your going to buy an expensive scope on Amazon make sure you double check who is actually selling the product. I trust opticsplanet and that scope has been awesome.
