Just got mine. Free shipping, no tax. Arrived in 5 days.

tried it quickly and it appears to be a nice tool. easy to use. comes with picatinny mount attached and an adapter to use as a hand held unit. in bright daylight warm day, it picked up my pets easily. yes it is tiny but that will be an advantage when mounted on a gun. I would not consider it much of a target optic for getting in the bulls eye but it sure has some advantages if you are doing a search for anything out there that might be of interest to you. the pix in the ad are not the same as what I got, it shows a long lens housing for the 12N. Mine has the lens glass mounted flush on the housing, no tube extension. well worth the $339 I paid. hopefully it will last a while.

Update: used it last night some. with the small display and low resolution it does not appear very useful at any sort of distance. closer in, less than 50 feet, you will notice shapes. out past that it runs into a spot. out 100 feet a medium size dog is just a small dot. without movement or a guess where to concentrate your vision, it would be tough to recognize. close in, nice images but I don't think there is much need to use it at 20-30 feet.

Update: on its way back for a refund. took it out last night. had a rabbit in the yard, 35 feet from me. would only see the smallest dot and could only be noticed because I knew it was there and knew where to look for it or else I don't think I would ever see it. down the street had 3 deer about 80 feet from me. very small mark and only noticed them when moving. I see no use for this but others might. If you want to find your dog in the living room with the lights off this would be great. not how I want to spend $340. I feel for those who bought it when it first came out, for big money. I now see why it is on sale. Good news is they were great about the return process and issued credit without problem.
