Description

Tisas PX-9DODG: The first generation PX-9 was a huge hit. They came with some great features and were a great price. They are reliable and fun to shoot. This is the third generation of the PX-9, and they keep getting better each time. The first-gen came pretty basic; now, this model features Glock style fiber optic front sight, Glock style drift adjustable rear sight, and an RMR cut optic plate, which is a considerable upgrade over the white three-dot sights from the original. The slide is also redesigned to save weight and be aesthetically pleasing to the eye with both front and rear slide serrations. The RMR optic plate allows for the direct mounting of the Trijicon RMR, SRO, Holosun 407C/507C, and the affordable Swampfox Kingslayer, Liberty, and Justice red dot sights. The slide features an OD Green Cerakote finish for a durable and rust-free coating. The Gen 3 PX-9 uses the exact redesigned grip and frame that the Gen 2 brought to market. This frame features a four-slot Picatinny rail in front of the squared-off trigger guard so you can mount any pistol light or laser that your mission dictates. The PX-9 has a textured index point on the frame for your support grip thumb and your trigger finger so you can grasp the handgun at the same place every time. The grip from the Gen 2 was a game-changer for the PX-9, and it was wise for Zigana to keep it for Gen 3, featuring interchangeable side panels and backstraps for over 27 grip configurations. Truly a genius design for those who don't quite fit the small, medium, and large mentality. The excellent flared mag well from the second-gen shows up again in the gen three, making speed reloads a breeze. The mag catch is reversible for those who shoot left-handed. New to the Gen 3 PX-9 is a flat-faced trigger that includes a trigger safety, so you no longer have to fumble with a thumb safety. The end result of the new PX-9 Gen 3 Duty is a fantastic, forward-thinking design that anybody would feel comfortable carrying in harm's way. Like the first two generations, the PX-9 ships in a hard case with an IWB holster, owner's manual, cleaning kit, and two magazines (1-20 round & 1-18 round), making the Gen 3 PX-9 the perfect package.

WHY NO 10 round version of this. 20% of the country can't buy this.

when people come on this sight and ask dumb questions they should already know the answer to, they probably don't have enough sense to own a firearm in the first place.

I've got the gen2. I added fiber optic sights to it. As far as I can tell fiber optic sights, optic cut out on the slide, and 20 round capacity are the only differences between gen 2 and 3. The gen2 uses sig 226 mags so easy enough to pick up some mecgar 18 rounders and add a plus 2 adapter to them Not sure what mags fit the gen3. And yes these are nice pistols. Got mine over at psa but I see they are out of stock right now. Paid a little less as it was on closeout at the time. Tisas makes good quality lower priced pistols. Thew one in the checkout and shipping came in at 28.95 fyi. Pass for now.

I got mine threaded in black from family firearms. 270$ shipped and taxed. This thing if fucking nice!!! Its also way lighter than the sar9 and the trigger is a tad crispier. Id say half a pound to a pound lighter with a bouncy reset that almost forces you to reset the trigger to ready for a follow up shot. What I am trying to describe is not dangerous but really ergonomic.

I have the same pistol in FDE from Classic. The trigger pull is a consistent 3 pound pull on my trigger gauge. The pull is so light it is scary....lol !!! I dont have any other striker fired pistol with that light of a pull.

I love turkey, but hate Turkey. Still, this is a very good deal and the gun has a lot going for it. Classic also has several other models available at the same price, including the FDE threaded...

I already have the threaded "Duty' version and I wanted to buy the threaded "TACTICAL" version at the $249 price but got there too late. The PX-9 is an awesome pistol at that price.

Damnit! I literally just bought the regular version last week... Now they have an optic ready version for a few bucks more... Oh man what to do now.... Lol
Looks like Tisas is trying to up their game to compete with the SAR9... good luck!

Do you need a gun permit to purchase these ?

You shouldn’t need one at all. All you need is the ability to pass a background check for the ATF/FBI at your local Federal Firearms Licensed dealer which is where they’ll ship the gun after you order it.

Depends VERY much on what state you live in.
Some places you have to get a license just to buy a pistol (California, I'm looking at you).
Quite a few states will not let this pistol in as it has more ammo capacity than the laws allow there (NY, DC, Cali, Colo....etc etc).

Before giving someone advise, know something about which you speak ?

I was just assuming that he lived in that little patch of land between New York and California called America.

Depends on where you live. Here in Missouri no permit is needed.
