Description

Tisas PX-9DFDE: The first generation PX-9 was a huge hit. They came with some great features and were a great price. They are reliable and fun to shoot. This is the third generation of the PX-9, and they keep getting better each time. The first-gen came pretty basic; now, this model features Glock style fiber optic front sight, Glock style drift adjustable rear sight, and an RMR cut optic plate, which is a considerable upgrade over the white three-dot sights from the original. The slide is also redesigned to save weight and be aesthetically pleasing to the eye with both front and rear slide serrations. The RMR optic plate allows for the direct mounting of the Trijicon RMR, SRO, Holosun 407C/507C, and the affordable Swampfox Kingslayer, Liberty, and Justice red dot sights. The slide features an FDE Cerakote finish for a durable and rust-free coating. The Gen 3 PX-9 uses the exact redesigned grip and frame that the Gen 2 brought to market. This frame features a four-slot Picatinny rail in front of the squared-off trigger guard so you can mount any pistol light or laser that your mission dictates. The PX-9 has a textured index point on the frame for your support grip thumb and your trigger finger so you can grasp the handgun at the same place every time. The grip from the Gen 2 was a game-changer for the PX-9, and it was wise for Zigana to keep it for Gen 3, featuring interchangeable side panels and backstraps for over 27 grip configurations. Truly a genius design for those who don't quite fit the small, medium, and large mentality. The excellent flared mag well from the second-gen shows up again in the gen three, making speed reloads a breeze. The mag catch is reversible for those who shoot left-handed. New to the Gen 3 PX-9 is a flat-faced trigger that includes a trigger safety, so you no longer have to fumble with a thumb safety. The end result of the new PX-9 Gen 3 Duty is a fantastic, forward-thinking design that anybody would feel comfortable carrying in harm's way. Like the first two generations, the PX-9 ships in a hard case with an IWB holster, owner's manual, cleaning kit, and two magazines (1-20 round & 1-18 round), making the Gen 3 PX-9 the perfect package.

I have the non optic ready version and I have had excellent luck with mine. Handles and shoots very similar to a Springfield XD. I've had no reliability issues or any sort of failures. They are good guns for the price. Solid construction and fit and finish is quite good. They are a tad heavy. My trigger breaks at around 5.5lbs. a bit of take up but breaks clean and has a good reset. If you need a good budget pistols for home defense then I think this is an excellent buy. Good luck
