So much for "cold forging", it's a cheap less perfect way of making a barrel, it sounds good, but does anyone think that an army someware uses these Turkish pieces of junk

Any one know if you can drop a threaded barrel in?

Good guns for the price. I'd buy one before I'd buy anything else in the sub-$500 range, if I were looking for a 'cheap' entry in the 1911 world. It works fine and shoots accurately. It doesn't shoot as well as my old Colt 1911. So if you already have a 'premium' brand of 1911, this probably isn't the gun for you. It certainly won't be confused with a $800 Sig 1911....but it shouldn't at less than half the price.

This is a fine pistol. It is well built, accurate and for the price is an amazing deal. Trigger is good, but not as good as some of the more expensive 1911s. This Tisas 1911 is more accurate than my well-worn Colt 1911 and is one of my favorite pistols. It feels just like a true GI Issued pistol even though its made in Turkey. Buds has always been a good vendor so I'm not sure why some people don't like them.

A very well built, bargain 1911. The only reason I sold mine was to buy the same thing in cheaper to shoot 9mm. From what I've read Bud's Guns does a good job of honoring their own warranty on these.
