Bought one a few years ago for 299 plus shipping and transfer fee. Had a few failures new. Partly because of cheap mags. I upgraded the recoil spring and guide rod and it runs good now. I have a desert eagle 4 inch to compare it to. There are differences of course as the DE has a better barrel and grips The DE cost me 850 btw. You can be fairly confident buying one as they seem well made to me. Probably like most 1911's they will need a break in period.

IMHO_ Nice finish, No play in slide, over all very tight fit, decent trigger not the best, got some weight to it, barrel seems a little thin, mag release could be extended. For the price it’s a fair deal. Thank you

Hi Livin & BP, ~ Well after doing a lot of research on the Tisas and reading/seeing reviews from actual owners and You Tube vids I think it’s a no brainer. Thanks Guys !

I never owned this name brand, anyone ever put one of these thru it’s paces, and if yes how did it do. Thank you

I've not had this exact gun, however I've had other Tisas branded pistols and they are comparable to any of the other budget prices guns coming out of turkey these days. They all have been super reliable, good accuracy and mechanically speaking well made and solid. The only thing I've ever found and is mostly with some of the smaller/older manufacturers like Tisas is the fit and finish can be a little less than perfect. Nothing that would affect operation or safety of the guns, just things like machining marks, casting marks, finishes being thin and easily worn, a loose screw or marred pin. Things like that. I would go over any and all screws and locktight them and do a good inspection first before shooting. Which should be done anyway with all guns. But I will say even the smaller, less technical manufacturers are updating their equipment and QC programs to be up to the US market standards. For example the New TISAS Zigana px9 I just bought is spot on. It's a very nice pistol for the little money I spent. I think I paid about $225 with shipping on it and it came with a hard case full of accessories!. Also the SARSILMAZ company is a full on hi tech updated factory turning out excellent weapons and supplying military and police forces across the globe. Their SAR9 is probably the best value for a 9mm striker fired handgun on the market today. So yeah don't let the fact these guns are made in Turkey shy you away... There's some great deals to be had if your not someone who bashes out of country made products.

Living, There’s another Tisas for sale, decent price I’m getting itchy to hit the buy button lol. In ur opinion do you think “custom parts” like barrel bushings, recoil springs, barrels ect. from 1911 parts sellers will fit with no hassles? Thank you

Living’ can reply for themselves, but in my experience the slight variations in their tolerances MAY make it more challenging to install aftermarket parts. But most should fit fine. If specs were way out of tolerance, the pistol wouldn’t likely run as-is from the factory. But they do.

Livin, Great reply TY! very much appreciated, I had the Expensive ones but I’m figuring “why” except for the name this will do the same for my eyes, but I will tell ya that Springfield Armory 45 acp is dam accurate. I’m gonna keep my eyes open and check out those SARSILMAZ. Have a great New Year! Thank you

Seems odd that they'd use a blemished one for the stock photo lol
