Bought one local, I absolutely LOVE it. I burned 500 rounds my first trip out. I bought 6 more mags from tippmann and a vortex sparc II from PSA, can't wait to hit the range again. Zero play between the upper and lower. Almost perfectly zeroed out of the box (slight adjustment to the right and she was good to go). It is on the more expensive side but it was worth the price of admission to me. I had zero failures shooting normally BUT I tried to monopod off the magazine (which isn't recommended) just to see and the bolt did override the next round in the magazine, which I expected because my M&P 22 rifle did the same thing. Far from a deal breaker. Magazines are tad expensive for 30 dollars but they are excellent quality and IMO better than the M&P mags.

My dedicated AR22 is better in that it's all AR15 lower and upper parts including the charging handle. I built it using CMMG upper and their bolt carrier. Then used better mag adapter to use M&P 22lr mags for bolt hold open... it eats everything I feed it including the remington unicorn dungs.

"They" is specifically ambiguous, I have no idea who. I can still see all of my posts when logged in, but when I view on my phone not logged in all of my posts earlier than 5/7 are gone, ergo "hidden from the public". The post counter is also lower than the actual number of posts. Also, not sure what's going on with the reply button just making a new post for some comments.

I'm not going to argue that a 22lr down a .223 caliber barrel is going to perform better than out of a .22 barrel, but I look at it as a point of diminished returns considering the limited performance of the shell. I haven't gone squirrel hunting in decades, and dad's $100 old tube fed works just fine.

I wanted a 22lr pistol build, and I was looking for weight conservation so I went with a poly lower and kak. On the plus side; it runs flawless, cost less, can be converted to 223 within minutes, aaaand all of the parts are interchangeable with all the other AR's. It doesn't have bho, and I don't care. I consider it "dedicated" because I don't have full faith in poly in .223 but I can use it as such if I have to.

Some people wanna spend $6 on an organic soy frappachino sprinkled with fairy dust, I'm good with my $.50 home brew that some barista didn't fart in.

P.S. If you end up getting a poly lower, don't buy vulcan, trigger pocket isn't milled right.

Still have it, shoots everything. Hopefully, the Tippmann is also as reliable.

The Tippmann will not disappoint and they will stand behind their product if there are any issues God forbid. We appreciate you leaving your comments here!

330AK47 did you really have a M&P 15-22 that was reliable? Mine was so bad just got rid of it. Hated any bulk ammo. Never heard of them being called reliable.

Agree 330ak47. I pointed out earlier the spec differences on several models, but nuance was lost in some comment deletes. Several alternatives available, plastic and aluminum. All perform well with various perks, but this is the high end, low ball caliber, "ar".

This is a very good vendor and a great firearm option, I will likely but one. However, the comparison to plastic is just marketing, as there is nothing wrong with the 'plastic guns'. An M&P 15-22, for example, is highly reliable, shoots everything you throw at it, and costs less. If you want a premium product, Tipmann is it - but it being better is subjective.

Hi ThornHulk, What do you mean hide your comment ?

Looks like they're trying to hide my comments from the public, so I'll say it again; buy a cmmg conversion kit for your AR, save $400. You can thank me later.

We " gun pro " are not hiding any comments. I 'm not even sure you can do that on here. I just want to put that out there. We want to get everyone's take on the product. good, bad etc. I do think that the Tippmann has an advantage ( not just bc it is not plastic) but because it comes with a barrel that is designed specifically for the 22 lr. I"m sure most people would agree that you get more accuracy shooting a 22 lr down a 22 lr barrel vs shooting a 22 lr down a 223/556 barrel. I guess that is the main point I was trying to point out. Also the Tippmann has a nickel plated bolt which ensures more reliable cycling of the action. We do sell both the M&P 15-22 and Tippmann however we believe there is a difference between the two whether it be materials used or accuracy.

45's cock holster is the same as martyr only if it's the account he uses when he's off his meds and goes full Hyde. Martyr is at least coherent and doesn't bother wade into the political nonsense, while he may be a bit bullish at times there is usually some foundation for his reasoning. I'm pretty sure Dump is 1xxxyd's new account. Same troll drivel, same self up voting, same shit talking then forgetting what they said when they actually have a question, and the account's about as old as when 1xxx was taken offline. I'm pretty sure it just wandered in from 8kun. On the plus side I noticed its comments have just disappeared.

Wait till you figure out that Martyr Machine and TYPresTrump are the same person (along with some other trump based nick I don't remember right now).
He (she?) tries to hold convincing conversations with it's self......or not.
IT needs to go away, I have not seen a single useful comment from any of the 3 nicks yet.

I understand where you are coming from. To put this in perspective though it cannot really be compared to the cheaper alternatives given that it is metal and not plastic. This Tippmann has a dedicated upper and lower receiver along with upgraded features such as a functioning dust cover, forward assist and last round hold open. Not to mention that this gun has a nickel plated bolt which ensures reliability. The cheaper alternatives do not have these features and are not as reliable. This gun also has an aluminum M-Lok handguard. Anther thing to take into consideration is the accuracy that comes along with the Tippmann. If you convert a standard AR to 22 LR you are still sending a 22 LR down a 556 barrel and some accuracy is lost. Just some things to consider. With all of this said you are getting a lot for the difference.

Since you seem to have pull on this site, how about stopping all the "backordered" posts? and while your at it stop all the "used" one gun sales ads. The one smith and wesson pistol with new "cerekote".... its shit and belongs on an auction site.

Great little .22, only issue is it only comes with 1 magazine and mags are $30+shipping. And they need to make a wide ambi charging handle. Other than those not so big issues it runs great on all the Cheap .22 Ammo I could find. Runs like a champ.
