The Testudo Gen 2.0 Plate Carrier is an armor carrier that maximizes coverage and comfort.
For coverage, this Testudo 2.0 Plate Carrier is able to hold the biggest size the industry offers (11”x14”) as well as the more common 10”x12”. For comfort, generous padding prevents chafing and a fully adjustable cummerbund and shoulder straps let you choose the ideal fit. This adjustability makes the Testudo more than a “one-size-fits-all” solution since the size itself can be changed to best suit you.
The Testudo also has plenty of PALS webbing for attaching your MOLLE-compatible pouches, holsters, and accessories. On the PALS is an application of Velcro, offering superior versatility for placement of medical, moto, or other patches or gear.
Our A2 Plates are Level III+ rated to defeat all pistols and most rifle ammunition, including 5.56x45 M193, 5.56x45 M855/SS109 at 3,000 FPS as well as AK-47 rounds (7.62x39), and .308 (7.62x51 M80 NATO Ball) at 2,850 FPS. Due to the steel alloy blend, it is also able to protect against several hits without shattering or breaking like ceramic plates. It also provides the same protection on the edges as it does in the center, giving you true edge-to-edge coverage. The included Trauma Pads are worn behind the steel plates to reduce the blunt-force impact.
All our magazine pouches are constructed from genuine 500D Cordura nylon with retention flaps that feature an easy-to-grip Hypalon® pull tab. The removable retention strap allows you to adjust magazine capacity and size for the best fit, or even remove it entirely to run an open-top configuration. Each pouch also includes a matching pair of MALICE CLIPS® to attach to your MOLLE-compatible platform.
This particular bundle offers a double and single configuration: The Multi-Caliber Pistol Magazine Pouch (double) accommodates all common pistol magazines in single or double stack form, from .22LR to .50AE, and everything in between- even Five-Seven. The Multi-Caliber Rifle Magazine Pouch (single) accommodates all common rifle magazines and is capable of accommodating magazines such as 5.56x45 (.223), 7.62x39 AK, or 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Winchester).
The Dump Pouch is compact but provides easy access and enough room to store magazines, equipment, or small gear.
