Wait this is a brand new Taurus model and its getting rave reviews??
Seriously?? Its better then the M & P .22?
Why would you want this if the M&P .22 compact is the same or even less?
I have the TX22 and owned the M&P compact and full size 22. The Taurus is FAR better than both. Trigger is fantastic and shoots lightning fast. Ergos are awesome. 16 round mags that eat everything I've fed it. It's the best 22 pistol I've shot in a long time.
I bought one and have been very pleased. Very good trigger, accurate, 16 round mags,no malfunctions. And yes, its superior to the S&W 22 compact (owned one) and I do like my Shield (for carry) but I think Taurus has a winner with this.
Well to be fair I was minutes away from ordering the compact a few weeks ago and then ran across this gun. Strictly on paper, reviews, and holding both of them at the local gun shop I would say this one is superior in every way except maybe for size. Larger capacity magazines, excellent ergonomics, and a threaded barrel with adapter.
