This is a fine first gun. Not expensive, good shooter, easy to conceal and has decent capacity for a small gun. I've had one for about a year and a half and it works well. It is my camping/kayaking gun. I've probably put 700+ rounds through it and had one FTE back around round 175 using Blazer aluminium casing. Other than that, it eats pretty much whatever I've fed it.

I own one its a great gun but not same size as Shield or XDS more its a compact not Subcompact. Its similar to M&p9c or Glock 26 but the grip is longer.

Best sub $200, even $250 handgun available. I have owned many and still have 3 of these. Uber reliable, shoots anything, brass, steel, reloads, +P, etc. For an inexpensive compact pistol their fairly accurate too providing you get used to the long, and I mean long double action trigger pull. They do get much better with a few hundred rounds and or a little Dremel work on the insides. These are roughly the same size as a shield or xds, yet hold a full 13 rounds and have a rail for accesories. Very comfortable and ergonomic for most size hands as well. Just can't say enough about these gen 2 versions. Yes the original version did have issues but they've sorted them out. Plus they have a no questions asked lifetime warranty.
