  • My gosh. I can't believe it. I like it better than my Glock 26 for conceal carry. Bought an amberide Kydex holster on Amazon for $18. Love the thing. I hate safeties but I'm training with it. Just like my Glocks it eats everything dirty rusty metal hollow points. Everything. Accurate. Low recoil. Very light. I list 109 lbs and 6 surgeries over 4 months in the hospital. I can't carry my heavy pistols. I carry one mag in my pocket as backup. Good trigger. Great curve at the bottom of the magazine. Racks easier than ALL my pistols. Loading was tough. Now it's fine. Just took 2 weeks of loaded mags. 5 stars. I can't believe it. I want to get the safety removed and glued in place. But it is a good positive safety. $200. Buy it. If you hate it sell it for $250 lol. Don't think I'm changing anything on it. The grip is perfect. Almost like an aftermarket coating. Never adjusted the sights. I hear no more G2 soon. G3 only $50 more. I had so many people tell me they carried one I had to get one. Glad I did.

At this price, no wonder I saw a lot of guys opened carrying this gun.

Was going to buy 2 myself but the shipping ($44) makes this in range with every other sale price on the net. Sure the rebate does make this a bit better if a deal but waiting months to receive it, and that's if you do, this isn't anything special. The gun itself is a great budget gun and is in the top their of the $200-$250 pistol price range. Other than the trigger being heavy and gritty it does eat anything and fairly accurate. What I appreciate is the compact size but carries a full 12+1 and has a rail. 2 things that are hard to find on pistols this size. I've owned probably 8 to 10 of these over the years and since the first rendition, they have gotten much better. There are 2 ways to make the trigger better. First, shoot the shit out of it! 400-500 rounds and you'll start to feel much less grit. 2nd, which is what I do, take a polishing tip and compound then use a Dremel to polish all internal trigger surfaces like transfer bar and any other metal on metal contact points. I also use a dry graphite lube on those parts when done. Makes a good difference.

I purchased a G2C in February of this year. Zero issues with it so far. I paid $200, no rebate. This is a phenomenal deal.

Put it in cart. Removed it after the $30 shipping charge showed up

Solid gun, trigger has much to be desired but no jams or FTE. Paid about $200 a few months ago.

Safety is on the left side. I've have 3 G2Cs for a couple years now. About 300 rounds through each. No jams or FTEs. You can't beat the value.

yes, and its a solid gun, though i much prefer the g3 due to its increased size.

Then go buy a g3. Not sure why you felt the need to make that comment on a deal for a g2c if a compact is not what you’re looking for.

Does this have a safety? I couldn't find any info on that. I want to have this as a cheap gun to leave in my truck.

In case someone breaks into my truck and steals it I wouldn't worry too much about just a $200 gun

That's why you either don't leave a gun in your truck or if you do, you use a well mounted pistol safe designed for vehicles. Many people die every year from idiots who leave guns in vehicles without securing it. Gun does nothing for you being "locked" in your vehicle. Either carry the damn thing or make sure no jackass can get at it with a simple break in. Go get some training before doing something dumb and your lack of safety costs some innocent life.

It's a truck gun. If you don't know what they means then you probably shouldn't post a paragraph ranting about a thing you don't understand.

I think he understands what a 'truck gun' is.....his comments reflect his frustrations with the owners who leave their 'truck gun' in their truck, lol.
