Not really seeing the point of this. If you want 9mm a shield is cheaper and holds more, probably lighter too. I'd rather have a +p rated .38 for a revolver.

9mm Shield isn't an all stainless revolver, and 38 special is much more expensive to shoot. 38 +p is basically a regular 9mm with a smalller diameter.

Still not really seeing the point. Don't need my firearms in stainless, and a 5 round 9mm seems kind of ridiculous. My go to revolver is a 357 blackhawk, now that's expensive to shoot.

How heavy and bulky is a 357 Blackhawk? Who's going to edc that everyday? Funny that first you claim you are okay with and want a 38 +p revolver, but think 9mm which has more or similar velocity with a bigger bullet for about half the price of 38 special is silly lol... So 5 rounds of a weaker carriage is okay, but bigger and cheaper doesn't make sense?

Some prefer stainless revolvers because the little bit of added weight mitigates recoil and for looks. Some prefer double action triggers. Unlike with a Shield or the like, you can make contact shots, don't have to worry about limp wristing, or all the other potential problems that come with semiauto pistols. Lastly, some just prefer revolvers...

Just because it's not for you does not mean it doesn't make sense.

Never said I'd edc a 357, simply revolver preference. Wish it was a DA but got it as a gift. I'd take the ultra lite over this, load a hot and heavy round, spend the extra $100 on casings.

The weight is the same reason I like my blackhawk, but would never carry. I went with the performance shield, and that porting is a world of difference on target maintenance. Some want to say the flash will blind you, but my ranges are pretty dark and I've found it negligible. I hear you on preference, I just put higher priority on capacity, profile, and customization. I'd own them all if I could.
