I love the description "low-profile fixed sights" is kind of funny considering the color of this gun, bright yellow is anything but low profile. I know that they are refering to is the ease of hosltering of the gun, less potential for drag, with the use of the low-profile sights but it is still funny to me.

As far as the gun looking like a toy gun, that is called responsiblity and is on the owness of the gun owner not to give ready access to the gun to their kids or the kids that might be around them. A gun is a tool nothing less and tools come in all sorts of colors and can also sometimes look like toys. If that tool can be deadly in the hands of a child then don't allow them access to it unless under direct adult supervision and under the proper circumstances.

I think for for about 230 shipped that is a pretty good price if you want a bright yellow gun though good gun.deals find.

You know, my only beef with these is that they look like a child's toy instead of a gun. Doesn't that strike people as somewhat potentially dangerous for kids?

No matter the color, keep kids away from guns. But, I see your point.
