AR 5.56mm IF Gen-II Mag, Blk 30rd Description
The next generation of AR magazines has arrived and INTRAFUSE® is at the forefront with our 30rd Gen II AR Magazine. It still retains the rugged mag body that the original had, but Tapco has made vast changes to the interior components to improve the overall functionality of the magazine. First, Tapco is making the spring out of premium 17-7 Stainless Steel. Second, Tapco has redesigned the shape to make it smoother, quieter, and easier to load all 30 rounds. Plus, Tapco has made changes in spring tension to cut back on the stress put on the mag body when fully loaded, making spine cracks something you'll never have to worry about. But Tapco didn't just stop on improving the spring, they also totally revamped the follower.

Tapco kept the anti-tilt design but the new follower allows more dirt and grime to pass through the magazine so there won't be any feeding errors no matter what kind of debris has entered the magazine. Along with these interior design changes, the Gen II magazine does away with the rare drop-free issue that some users were experiencing with the first generation mag.

Specifications:

- Holds 30 rounds of .223/5.56mm Ammunition
- Dark Earth Anti-Tilt Follower
- Premium 17-7 Stainless Steel Spring
- Reinforced Composite Magazine Body and Floorplate
- Black

After using mine the past few years, I'm sold. I like em better than pmags, troy battlemags, a funky European polymer mag I tried, and even aluminum mags. I can't oversell just how smoothly they feed, and the bulky, tank like body has grown on me.

are these any good? or should i just buy pmags at $89 for a 10-pack?

Whydo you keep adding this as it still says only 4 in stock?

$10 shipping and handling for 2 kinda kills it for me.

They only have 4 in stock?

think they might be limiting 4 per order

It is weird because they show 371 in stock. I tried to order 21 to get free shipping but it let me order 13. Now I get the same thing, only able to order 4.

Not limiting because 1 had 22 in the cart to save 5% & get free shipping & while checking out it said only 13 in stock & later 4 in stock but still shows 371 on the 1st page?

I ordered a handful of these along with a bunch of AK mags. I don't like the AR versions.

When you stuff em up the mag well it's like they go just a hair too far. You can feel it, then when you pull down it "clicks"... Out of 5 Crapcos, all except one does this. To me it says something about their quality control or "lack there of"...

On the other hand, the AK mags seem legit although I haven't fired any rounds through them yet.

I bought about ten of them the last AR scare. (They were the only ones I could find for a reasonable price) I've had absolutely zero problems with mine, and they actually seem more solid than a few other big name polymer mag makers offerings. The only thing that I really dislike about these mags, is the oversized baseplate. It makes stuffing two of these in a standard double magazine pouch a bit awkward. Other than that, Zero complaints. I will say this though. With the current glut of polymer mags out there, you can find PMAGs for this price. I'd lean that direction, personally.

Great price on quality mags, and the same deal as posted last week. I ordered ten then, just to have some cheap spares, which arrived in perfect condition in three days. BBB ratings are worth exactly what you pay for them---absolutely nothing.

Have not had any problem from Mississippi Auto Arms. I ordered and received 40 of these mags. Pretty fast shipping, great deal over all.

Ordered twice from them in the last two weeks... no problems. Except that they ship by FedEx SmartPost. Really difficult to track.

Is this vendor reliable?

Does anyone on this board know this vendor? I did a quick check of them online and saw that the BBB gives them an "F" grade. This makes me a little reluctant to buy from them.

Yes, I posted this deal around 2 weeks ago or so. I ordered 6, I got all of them, but the mags themselves weren't even in any kind of packaging. All 6 were just in a brown box fed ex delivered (I hate fedup!). Havent done any range test yet so I cannot tell you if they are good mags, going in 2 weeks to shoot some stuff up so we will see how they hold up. Still a good deal deal though for ar mags.

Bought 20 last week for $250 shipped... sold two 5 packs on GB for $100 each. So mine cost $5 each... guess if I wasn't such a dumb fuck they would have been free. BUT to actually comment on the product: great mags, at a great price= Slick Deal!

Great customer service, especially in this order frenzy going on... Place an order for 5 of them, then decided to add a couple Glock magazines after I just placed the order, called them, and with in 5 rings a lady picked up an added them for me to keep the flat rate shipping... Within a minute I had me new invoice emailed to me with the added order and a delivery time of 3 to 7 days... Will shop again long a they come in good time, but with the service, doesn't seem like there will be any problem and shop again.
