tight in Windham SRC ,but I didn't try them at the range yet.
On YouTube few videos show this mag doesn't function with the Ruger 556

With each of the ten I bought, mag over-inserts when loading with bolt open (mag is then jammed in magwell), bcg won't go into battery and round won't chamber. Same result with all ten I bought no matter which AR I use. Worst experience I've ever had with a mag. Buyer beware.

Careful with their “e-gift certificates” as they cannot be combined with their free shipping coupons as they consider these “certificates” as coupons….why don’t they call them coupons then?!? You either get 10 dollars off and pay 9 dollars shipping. Adds up about the same in my book. Only thing they are useful for are the rare times when Sportsman's Guide does not offer free freight.

Still like SG though.

Hmmm ... I used the $10 certificate yesterday (I entered it in the "gift card" field) and used SH1780 coupon code. It gave me the free shipping but not 10% off and applied the $10 certificate. So ... I bought a pack of 3 mags for the original 19.79 and then got 3 more the next day for $9.79 after using the $10 certificate, so ultimately a little under $5 each. Did you try to use the same coupon twice? I tried that to get another $10 certificate and free shipping but it said I had already used that coupon and couldn't use it twice. They let me use SH1780 though. I tried to use that coupon again today but it said I couldn't use that one again either. Apparently we only get to use each coupon once. Not sure if that's what happened to you as well, but I feel your frustration sometimes with how they do coupons.

I tried to use both and failed. Emailed customer service and they said I could not use both.

Work perfect in my M&P 15 Sport, and my PSA AR.

I had problems with these in my PSA AR. Mag would not seat and rounds would not chamber.

I have about 20 of these from SG, and I've only ever had a single issue with one of the mags. It wouldn't drop free, and that was solved by removing a bit of flashing left over from the molding process. YMMV, but I'd honestly put these up against any of the other, more expensive plastic mags (of which I have many) with confidence, any day of the week.

My only complaint is that SG ships them loose, whether you buy one or five+. I'd like to see them individually wrapped in plastic like Magpul, Hexmag, etc. Perhaps a lack of wrapping helps keeps costs down.

Have you tried to insert these mags loaded with bolt open? Every one of mine (I bought 12) over insert with reasonable force, the bolt catch sticks, the carrier/bolt won't move forward into battery and the mag won't eject (and I mean its jammed in the magwell). These are huge issues rendering these mags useless (defective) except for range use. I've tried them in various AR 15's - - same problem with each rifle. I didn't notice this problem at first because initially I only tried inserting them with bolt closed and they locked in and cycled just fine. If you have these mags try inserting them with bolt open (full function check) and comment. This sort of defect could be disasterous in a true self defense situation, however unlikely. I did find a youtube video documenting this problem with these mags. Buyer beware.

Yes, I have many times, and haven't ran into any such issues with my PSA. Sorry to hear that about yours, as it sounds incredibly frustrating. I just want to go on record and say that I have absolutely no stock in SG or SWT. I've read/seen a fair amount of reviews for better and for worse. I wish there was more firsthand info out there about them.

I bought 3 the last time these were on sale and was very disappointed with them. They would not seat and lock into my magwell. They also did not feed when a fully loaded. I had to strip off about 10 rounds before they would feed at all, and even then it was difficult to get the first round to feed. These seem to be hit or miss quality wise. SG was great about it and fully refunded my money and told me to keep the mags.

Bought three of these last time they were on sale. They feed/ function great, haven't noticed any problems with them bulging when full yet, but haven't used them extensively yet. Still prefer usgi and Troy mags because these have a large base plate that makes using double mag pouches awkward, but no other issues except for that

I do still use them, yes. Honestly, I've not had any problems at all. I run these, PMAGS, and USGI mags, and all perform the same for me. Buying some more right now.

EDIT - This post was in reply to Corpsie's older reply to me. I don't know why my posts keep appearing at the top of comment sections, even when I click "reply" to other posts.

These mags are top notch. Just as good as Magpul and lancer in my opinion. I torture tested one - dropped loaded mag from 7 feet onto concrete floor, ran it over with my suv multiple times - can't get it to fail. Feeds flawlessly in all my ARs. With this pricing, i bought me a couple of dozen.

Have you tried to insert these mags loaded with bolt open? Mine over insert, the bolt catch sticks, the bolt/carrier won't go forward into battery and the mag won't eject (and I mean its jammed). Huge issues with the ones I've purchased. I didn't notice these problems at first because I only tried inserting with bolt closed and they locked up fine. If you have these try the above and comment. I found a youtube video where these issues are documented.

Yeah i just ordered 6 more. They still have a link for the 19.99 3 pack.

Cant beat 6 quality mags for 40.00 bucks out the door. Used the free shipping code.

I'm not really loyal to any one kind of mag, but like most AR fans I tend to lean towards PMAGs. That said, I purchased a few of these to try out and was very impressed. Saw this deal, bought a few more, and figured I'd share.

Guess you got a good batch. The 3 pack I picked up recently I had to finesse each one a bit so it would drop when released. Also loading them i was waiting for the seams to split. Guess I'm just use to
steel/aluminum mags.

Isn't STANAG a specification and not a manufacturer?

Polymer magazines from Schweizer Waffen Technik. They are made for the m4 swiss ar-15 which is the same as ours. They are some of the best made. They are made to same spec as the magpul ar-15 magazine. Design for military heavy use. They use mil-spec follower's in bright red. They are built by the Swiss for their military.
