With the introduction of their M2.0 line of polymer framed, striker fired pistols, Smith & Wesson addressed the one big complaint that gun buyers had about the M&P line: the trigger. As we’ve mentioned in previous reviews of both the full-size and compact

Price increased now and then OOS.
4 days left for rebate and other stores have too much tax and shipping.
Ordered one. Wanted the non safety version but I'll live with it. Better deal than PSA. Free ship and no tax with SMGA.
10/28 - Picked mine up at the FFL today. I have to say Smokey Mountain included one of the best detailed receipts I've ever
gotten from an online dealer making rebate submission easy.
can we get a decent deal on commifornia version?
Great gun, reliable, my go-to carry gun in all but the hottest weather. At around 200 clams after rebate, this is a no-brainer buy.
The folks at SMGA are top notch. I have bought several guns from them and they always ship fast and offer the best customer service. I ordered 2 Shields when the rebate dropped. They shipped immediately on Monday and I received them Wednesday at my FFL. Thanks again SMGA.
This should be the price for the new Shield 2.0
I got the original Shield and it has a stale trigger IMO but it's not worth paying 70% of the price of the gun for an APEX trigger.
Just put a Pearce finger extension on the mag and it finally feels decent for large hands.
Is this a new rebate offer because one just expired on Sep 30.
S&W is the worst @ rebates. My rebate took over 5 month to receive.
Update:
IMO the Beretta Nano is a better deal right now. I own both the Shield and Nano and can't justify the Shield over the Nano...especially given the current price difference. My experience with the Beretta rebate process was nothing to write home about. However, it was much better than what I just experienced with S&W.
Received my first rebate in 4 or 5 weeks. Have you shot the nano?
If there is no longer $75 of cash or merchandise available by rebate, this is not a deal.
$279.99? I clicked on the "deal" link and the dealer website says $319.00...
