Do not buy a firearm from PSA. They deduct from your account right away but won’t ship your firearm for more than a month. Emailing customer service only gets you an automated response asking you to wait longer and good luck getting them on the phone. Terrible terms from a bad company, look elsewhere. I am trying to let as many people know about my experience so potential victims don’t suffer the same fate

So you make an account to shit talk a company that has(had) one of the better service records, because they are over booked? In the middle of a pandemic? I've had some not stellar experiences with them, but I at least know that now is not the time to expect a firearm from any supplier post haste.

Can’t ship it? Then don’t have a “sale” simple as that. Firearms flying off the shelves and can’t answer the phones? Then GET HELP. They didn’t start their business yesterday; ‘round the world, you give shit service, you get shit in return

Have you not heard of supply and demand? Cause we're at peak demand. Nearly everyone is experiencing delays, but still selling because the demand is there. It would be stupid of a company not to. Immediate charge on a card is standard these days with shipping coming later, and I don't see a case why PSA should be any different.

I mean, they could waste their time answering their phone every time some goober demands to know "wHEr,S mY gUn?", but that's probably going to lead to more of a delay. As far as more staff goes, hiring for an ffl is going to be much more strenuous than most other jobs. Even if it was just for call service, you'd at least want to hire someone that know wtf they're talking about, and it's not like armorers are in great supply. Not to mention the amount of time wasted on the hiring process for a temp that's not going to expedite the actual process.

I'm sorry that a fucking PANDEMIC AND CIVIL UNREST has cause you to feel like a victim, but whining on here is not going to get it shipped faster, and probably not going to deter anyone. If PSA is as a shit company as you protest, then how can they be so popular? Their qc's pretty decent, supply a number of arms that many don't, and prior to the US collapsing on itself did a pretty decent job of prompt order fulfillment. You could of course start an arms company your self and show us all how it's done. Not putting money on that horse.

And to your comment about instant deduction being standard, I’ve bought from Buds and GoG and there was no deduction until firearm was in transit; and neither one of them made me wait over 40 days

This isn’t a supply and demand issue, it’s a customer service issue. I email them, they tell me to wait 10 days. I wait 10 days and when I email them again they tell me to wait 10 more days. Civil unrest is not an issue for a market that is making dollars hand over fist with panic buys and essential business status. The issue I have (which you still are not getting) is their level of greed in terms of not MEETING demand with increased shifts or employees, and instead will rely on current staffing to process orders that have probably quadrupled. You’re assuming working in a warehouse putting shipping labels on boxes is not only difficult but won’t expedite a 40 day process? Any teenager can perform this task. Meanwhile they instantly deduct the full amount of the firearm (never purchased from anywhere else that does this first btw without waiting for it to ship) and hang on to my money like a free loan. Oh and btw in the time it took me to wait for this gun I already had 4 mags and a red dot scope shipped to me, which I ordered the same day and only took about 4 days to get to me. Where’s the civil unrest delay there?

TL;DR: if it’s listed as “in stock” then ship the godam product in appropriate timeline. I think 40+ days was plenty of time for me to be patient

Just because one company does one thing, doesn't mean everyone else does. In the modern online shopping experience instant deduction is the standard. I would say especially before shipping a firearm since they want to make sure you're not a broke ass they can't get a gun back from. I honestly can't remember the last vendor that I purchased from that waited til anything shipped, in stock or not.

It is completely a supply side issue, that's why stores have almost no surplus ammo and are limited on firearms on hand. The big box stores have been cancelling orders(after taking the money) for months because of it. Since you bought the red dot and mags, it's pretty obvious that it wasn't available or over booked. Mags and dots were never in panic demand, maybe pmags. It's been guns and ammo that everyone has been waiting on since March, so apples and oranges. They're probably telling you "10 more days" because they have no idea when the manufacturer is going to get their shit in line. At that point it doesn't matter if they hire a new package boy, and I'm pretty sire that they're not going to allow some "teenager" to handle packages of firearms for them. Sounds like a good way to get you ffl pulled.

Civil unrest matters because it has extended the buying frenzy. We were just starting to let up with the rona, then some cop decided to be a dick and more panic buying ensues. The time to bitch about this was in February, we are in a very different time now. I saw the writing on the wall and stocked up on reloading supplies, they're even sometimes scarce now. Expecting anything to move swift in May was a fools errand.

TL;DR: You're late to the party. If you need a gun, don't wait til SHTF to buy one.

Retailers really dredging the bottom of the barrel these days on stock they cant even move during a pandemic...maybe threat of civil unrest will finally get this shit off the shelves so we don't have to look at it anymore. Gun.turd.deals

That's probably the most accurate assessment. Honestly, gold edition aside, it's probably one of the best guns for older women. It racks like a .22, and the recoil on a ported .380 is gonna be nothing.
