It's not that I don't appreciate the post, but Sportsman Outdoor Superstore has this for $399 with free shipping. I just made an order this evening. A quick check of the usual suspects (KyGunCo, GrabaGun, Impact Guns, etc) shows this isn't that great a deal.

Anyway, this is my second. Great rifle for practice without the .223 per round price.

quite honestly, at $420 with $5 shipping, I am barely making anything on this deal. If I went any lower, I would be losing money. We are a small town shop, so obviously we do not order in super large quantities or ship thousands of packages a day to qualify for stupid low shipping from the carriers. Take out the cost for the gun.deals membership, the credit card fees, packing materials and time spent processing, we might actually be losing money on the deal.

I get it. As a small local store, I'm sure you are a treasure to your community. I've got a great local store that has the same item listed on their website for $440. They also need to make a suitable margin to stay in business. I'm looking at the higher price, the associated taxes, etc. Margin drives all of our decisions.

You're making a great offer however making it in this context places you on the same playing field as those that order in super large quantities or ship thousands of packages a day to qualify for stupid low shipping from the carriers.
