I believe the days of getting a Ruger or S&W delivered to your FFL for under $600 (rifle, delivery and FFL fee) have dried up.
Going forward i think that what cost us $600 this past fall/early winter will now cost us around/about $700.
Thats not to say we wont see any deals in the future, but theres alot of variables that will play into pricing like events that may or may not happen and elections.
Either way i tell people that if they feel the price is right, buy it. Its not worth trying to play the market in hopes of saving a few bucks. A person can deny himself alot of fun because of that.

BTW, i believe that this S&W is a good deal for the money.

Yes, it seems the price of all ARs are up across the board. Most likely due to the San Bernardino event, looming executive orders, and the thought of Hillary in office. She has stated that she wants to ban assault rifles and high cap mags. This price will look cheap depending on what happens.
