At $449, you get one, whether you want it or not.
Smith and Wesson does not honor the mail in rebate on this SKU
I received my rebate for this sku.
Not true. Read the full details and this model number is certainly included.
Not true, I ordered this from SMGA for $509 before rebate and the $50 rebate went through with zero problems.
Why is that, do you know? Just checked my rebate for the same SKU and it has been "processing" since 3/23.
I submitted my rebate twice, and it was rejected both times because I thought I entered the serial number wrong the first time. I talked to their customer support and they said it was an invalid serial number meaning it was not qualified for the rebate.
Been back and forth with them regarding the same thing, claiming the serial is invalid even if they can confirm the serial is correct via the photo of the UPC I submitted as part of the rebate. Escalated twice and today they admit the serial is valid but now the model "does not quality. Per the rebate form only model excluded is the 30 Super Carry (and no SKU's are even mentioned in the PDF rebate form!) but these people will not listen to reason or logic. Finally the rebate idiots told me to call S&W direct at 800-331-0852 (I think option 3). A nice gentleman on this side of the ocean said this was a common issue, the SKU qualified for the rebate, and they would correct within a few days. Made a note to myself to follow up next week with both the rebate company and S&W to check status.

Kudos to you for escalating it and sharing your findings. I hope you, rlaffargue and anyone else in this situation receive yalls' due rebate.
Just wish S&W would correct their issue with the rebate company / department as clearly the two groups do not see eye to eye on a large section of SKU's being submitted. I have no idea how many of these "Bug Out Bag Bundles" were sold but I'd guess a crapload as pretty much every retailer was advertising them heavy during the rebate period. Unfortunately not as many people are as ornery and cheap as me and their rebates might end up sliding through the cracks.
I'm curious. Do you have anything new to share about the status of your rebate? If you haven't received it yet, I hope you've at least gotten further word that it is in the process of arriving.
Within a few days after talking to S&W (direct at 800-331-0852) I received notification my rebate had been approved and they quickly sent out the VISA gift card (over a month ago). I assume the same has not happened for you and I am sorry. Try giving them a shout again, perhaps they can compensate you directly as opposed to waiting for the overseas rebate company to get their act together.

You might try sending a clear image of the serial number to a CS rep and let them have a look at it.
All previous comments on this "deal" page have been removed. Most or all of them were discussing other sellers having a lower price on this product. Maybe that's why they were removed? Be sure to check the "Live Inventory Search" section of the page above and you'll find better deals on this from several different sellers. Since guns.com ships it for free, even their total price is better than PSA's on this. (guns.com almost always overprices the products they offer)
