Damn Detroit PD was living in the Stone Age

$299 might be a better deal if it was a 2.0 model, not an old Gen 1 M&P like this

a S&W in .40 - you couldn't pay me to take one of those steaming piles of dog crap.

Really solid firearm actually. And can be converted to 357 sig, 9mm with just a barrel swap. Great bug out firearm. Too expensive for gen1 unless it comes with all 3 barrels. Would definitely prefer Gen 2

Let's all guess that peanut likes the illusive stovepipe machine called Glock. That's what the majority of military guys are brainwashed to think is a good pistol. Eye roll.

Rifles are for men.
Pistols are for 1st Lieutenants.

I got a 40 cal smith and it hits harder than your 9mm carry while being more accurate than your 1911 gi. Oh thats right you cant afford a pistol so you hate on them. Maybe if the military gave you more than two pairs of socks you would be more loose with your money

Dude, you have no idea how many socks the military gives. I've been out almost 20 years and am still finding them in my stuff. Now, if they were only so generous with uniforms, boots, and pay....

BTW, .40 and .45 ACP both were shelved by every first world agency for a reason. 9mm is king in the real world. Shoot, carry, collect whatever you want but it is hard to beat a 9mm +P in terms of ballistic performance, penetration, or capacity.

9mm +p does have great ballistics no argument there, however in reality much of the service world switched to 9mm because of the cost to produce it, magazine capacity and for full honesty there are such a broad spectrum of people enlisting that they had to have a universal round for "all" people to shoot. A 5' tall 100lb female wasn't making the cut using 40 cal or 45, or the limp wristed IT gamer guy who wants to be a "soldier". Soft world we're living in these days and needed to accommodate "everyone"....I think soldiers and cops should be carrying 10mm. There was a video of big guy getting shot 15 times by a 9mm and he kept coming at this female cop which he got her hands on and broke her neck. 9mm is fast but tiny and kinda wimpy overall.

PSA sold a used gun to my neighbor. It was rusted throughout when he received it so refused the transfer. Do not buy a used gun from PSA. Ride down the road and throw money out the window instead.

LOL, this is literally a used gun.

Yeah he’s saying it was too used

I have a rule of thumb: never buy a used police gun.

Why?

Odds are that it has much higher round count than the average used gun without much difference in price.

more like the exact opposite. Officer firearms are famously almost always carried a whole ton, but shot maybe once or twice a year for Quals.

Higher than average chance you could end up with one that has a body count.
