I was able to add it to the shopping cart and ready to check out, but I wanted to select a different FFL so I went back to do that, before I accomplish that it sold out...

UGH! Sorry to hear that @Dickerson. My guess if there was no limit regarding purchasing them, somebody bought a bunch with one order. What an awesome deal (it was).

This deal was available for less than a day from what I can see. I placed my order on 28 Jan 2023 and must have barely got it in before the 5906 was out of stock. I hope that the Sportsmans Guide does ship my 5906 as I had ammunition orders on the books with them for more than 6 months in the past before they would cancel them. Overall, I still like SG and have been dealing with them since they had their printed magazine over 30 years ago.

Here is the real price of the 5906:
Sale price of 284.99 USD, less 20 USD ULTIMATE20 discount plus 14.99 USD Firearm Transaction fee to SG, free shipping for SG Buyer's Club Membership, plus 8% South Carolina sales tax (where I live), plus 10 USD FFL transfer fee (I have a great FFL that only charges 10 bucks for current/retired first responders). Net cost of the 5906 delivered to my hands: About 310 USD.

This an excellent deal pending the condition of the firearm and if I actually get it!

Very happy with this purchase. The 5906 arrived to my FFL about a week after it was ordered. The condition was good overall, but needed significant cleaning. I added wooden grips from Turkey (it came with well-used Hogue grips), have ordered extra mags, and a holster. I have attached some pictures of it disassembled right after I received it and final pictures after it is cleaned up. I am very happy with this deal

Thanks for the update. Sub 400 is a good deal currently, and the 59 is an easy rebuild. Well done.
