Features
These Carcano M91 TS Carbine Rifles, chambered in 6.5x52mm are original rifles from the Italian Carabinieri and have been in storage for the past 50 years. The M91 TS was built to a carbine, and are designed to be a smaller frame than other bolt action rifles in the time period. The result is a carbine which is quick and accurate. The Ts stands for "Truppe Speciali" which translates to Special Troops. These rifles would have been originally issued to artillery, mortar, and machine gun crews, among other Italian special troops. Don't miss out on this unique piece of history and grab yours today!
These rifles are in a surplus used condition and will have wear marks on them to reflect that. Condition wear marks may include, but are not limited to scratches, dings, minor cracks, or other blemishes which effect the finish of the rifle. These rifles are completely functional, but are surplus and we recommend having them inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to firing.
We are not offering hand-picked selections for these rifles. These are surplus rifles and are sold as-is.

Is this a cheap gun or an expensive club? where do you get 6.5x52 these days?
Forget Palmetto they suck. Search for more customer friendly dealers. Buy Carcanos now while they're cheap. Ammo will become available. Just make sure the bullet is no less than .267 diameter for best results.
Buy a gun where the condition is listed and guaranteed to function. These could be good, poor or non functional. AS IS. Rather loose my money at a slot machine. Ammo is online for this around $2-2.50 a round in 3 locations. Wish people would actually post deals instead of garbage.
I inherited one of these from my Grandfather. After researching ammo, it has been a wall hanger for 20+ years. lol
Always enjoy buying as is, unseen products that are reccomend to be inspected so the product doesn't accidentally kill me.
One of the few modern milsurp rifles that’s actually worse than a Mosin. Sketchy case hardened heat treat, loose actions, weird gain twist rifling, poor accuracy, rare ammo, unobtanium clips. If you’re going to bubba the gun there’s basically no good way to add a peep sight or scope. You’re only going to get good accuracy slugging the bore and casting bullets to match your specific gun. Giant abyss of time and money or wall hanger.
I do not have experience with these rifles except I believe JFK was killed with one right? would these make a decent deer hunting brush gun that you wouldnt be afraid to beat on and haul thru the brush? can a scope be afixed? I assume it would have to be scout style or offset mount? opinions? being a 6.5 it should be a solid round for medium game? and yes I know I can buy a cheap plastic stock rifle for same money but I always prefer something "different"
Get a Ruger .450. Ammo is cheaper and probably fresher. Don't buy it just for nostalgia.
Something different? Well, this isn't exactly it. The ammunition is unobtainable, virtually anywhere (when you do find it expect to pay north of .80 CPR for non-match ammunition) from specialty online suppliers with no simple method of adding optics (requires adding a side mount). Purchase an inexpensive, 'plastic stock' modern bolt action in .308 WIN with a million hunting related loads that are readily available and move on.
Sears Catalog had these pre-1968 for about $20. I see no reason to pay more than that. If you want a milsurp gun buy Chinese SKS.
