Description

Surefire MAG5-60 High-Capacity Magazine, 60 Round has a Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum construction and is ideal for tactical unites in ambush situations. The 60-round magazine has optimal geometry, creatively designed nesting polymer followers and non-binding coil springs. It functions reliably due to the cadmium coated springs that have excellent resistance to corrosion and very low friction. This magazine requires fewer reloads, which translates to less downtime and you can keep it fully loaded for a long time and not be worried about spring fatigue.
Surefire MAG5-60 High-Capacity Magazine, 60 Round

The SureFire high capacity 60 rounds magazine for 5.56x45 mm (.223 Remington) is ruling the roost in the tactical market. Feedback has been great, especially as it is compatible with M4/M16/AR-15 variants and other firearms that accept standard STANAG 4179 magazines – one of the reasons why it is a popular choice for professionals who operate in tactical environments on a regular basis.

There is no feeding issue, due to optimal geometry it occurs seamlessly, so you don’t have to slow down in the middle of combat. A couple of features worth mentioning are the non-binding coil springs, and nifty nesting polymer followers, which also contribute to smooth feeding. There is no requirement for lubrication and you can disassemble it for cleaning purposes without tools or any other equipment.

The magazine is extremely sturdy and durable, as it is made using military grade hard-anodized aluminum. The springs are long-lasting, especially due to an additional coating of cadmium, which lowers friction and prevents corrosive deposits from accumulating on them. Thus the functionality remains unaffected.

This high capacity magazine provides stellar performance in tactical situations such as more initial firepower during an ambush, lesser need for reloads, and quick and convenient magazine insertion with closed bolts. These advantages ensure you don’t have to worry about downtime and distractions.

It is comparatively lightweight, allowing you to carry it without trouble, as the weight is centered in such a way that you can maintain a normal shooting grip and stance at all times, unlike other drum magazines. It is structured to be thinner than two 30 round magazines clipped together, although the length is same, so it fits in dual magazine pouches, thereby eliminating the need for special pouches.

If you are looking for something extra, the same magazine can also be purchased in a 100-round version.

Two 40 Rd pmags work well too for around $15 each. Get a couper and reload fast and use the $ you save for more ammo.

This ranks pretty high on the mouth breather scale, but still not as bad as a $300 buttstock or the $400 trigger.

Just think about that for a second. Over $800 for a trigger, a butstock and a magazine. Great "deal" huh?

"Because you're worth it!"

This should NOT even be posted as a "DEAL" , as it's not even close to being a good deal! These are known to have many failures, and at this price you can get A Magpul 60rd drum that actually works and has a decent warranty 2 boot! $120.00 will get you better quality and function...

These are also $102.18/shipped from the link below:
