I was interested until shipping came out to 23 dollars for central NC.

I was going to buy one of these and a Fostech upper and lower but the shipping was like 35$ that was for this light weight lower and Fostech light weight stripped upper and lower.

Basically $20 to ship a "lightweight polymer" lower. Give me a break!

Are any of these Polymer lowers good now?

For a range plinker, some have been ok. For harder or more serious use go aluminum. Polymer buffer tube...no way.

I’ve broke a couple. If it’s on a deer rifle or something you rarely use, it’s okay

How in the world do you brake your Polymer lowers?

My New Frontier polymer lower has been on multiple uppers, and thousands of rounds - has been going strong since 2013.
My TNArms polymer lower is definitively the strongest one in my safe, and I am comparing that to very high end billet lowers. Go look at their testing videos, they run over them with their cars. Do that to an aluminum lower and you might be creating immediate paper weight.

Aside from cryogenic freezing and then shattering the thing polymer is pretty dang tough stuff. I've only seen one lower break, which was right at the bottom of the threaded loop the buffer tube screws into. Not enough material had been used and no metal inserts to strengthen it's thin spots.
