The Stoeger® STR-9 Semi-Auto Pistol utilizes a striker-fired mechanism and outstanding ergonomics to deliver rapid shots with unfailing reliability. The polymer frame features aggressive texturing, thumb groves, and an under-cut trigger guard to provide a non-slip hold and position the shooter's hand close to the bore axis for enhanced control and quick follow-up shots. An integral Picatinny rail provides for attaching aftermarket tactical accessories. The trigger breaks cleanly, and it has a tactile and audible short reset. A safety lever in the center of the trigger prevents the pistol from firing unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center and pulled all the way back. The Nitride-finished slide features aggressive front and rear serrations. Dovetailed, drift adjustable 3-dot sights are quick to acquire in varied light conditions. The Stoeger STR-9 Semi-Auto Pistol field-strips easily. Comes with 1 magazine and 1 interchangeable backstrap; or 3 magazines and 3 interchangeable backstraps.

I have one of these, the gun is fine. (3 mags plus 3 back straps plus holster) You're not going to "wear it out". Even the cheapest 9mm will chew through 5000 rounds of 9mm ball with no issues and at todays prices that would amount to $3500.00 even if you could find it. The future looks no better. One thing about this deal though is you only get one magazine and extras could be a problem. One other thing is the trigger. It's stepped and rises to a narrow crown in the middle. (see picture in add) That, with the inner trigger blade, gives the pad of your finger a narrow ridge to rid on and after several hundred rounds it can become irritating. I modified mine. Also, the inner blade doesn't deactivate any safety mechanism inside the firearm, it only "catches" on the frame to prevent the pull.

I have a Stoeger M3K, completely different animist but she’s bad ass. Never had any issues. Was cheap purchase as well. I’m sure this will be slide fine. Keep her greased up. Done!

I wonder how many rounds on average it would take to wear this budget pistol out I had the 9E got rid of it b4 finding out cheap and accurate a plus but you pay for what you get I believe this gun will wear out quickly Has anyone bought one to see at that price. I think it would be fun enough to see how many rounds it would take wear it out
Would be fun enough to

Had a friend buy one at a local shop. Seems to be well built, but we haven't shot it yet... too cold outside.
