I just got an email from these losers saying they can't fill this item (which I've had backordered through them since Oct last year) until October this year. Yet, here is for sale on the website today for a couple cents more per round. I will never, ever purchase anything from this lousy company ever again AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

Yep, all the people saying Sportsmansguide sucks aren't lying to you.

You can get it for .20. This is no deal

In 2018 maybe.

Gotta love how these jerks are running ads for this ammo but still haven't filled backorders from last year. Sportsman's Guide is trash.

They are trash. Sadly, it that wasn't always the case. They really went downhill in 2020, but the decline started before then. I remember when their buyers club was actually a deal, their prices were decent, and they shipped quickly.

I've had this on backorder since November 2020, so it's been over 6 months, and it was for a cheaper price. It's been delayed 3x and is expected to ship July. Don't expect this to be fulfilled anytime soon.

Solution: don't order anything from the shit company known as Sportsmansguide.

Bottom line, $189.99 for members w/ free shipping, plus you need to add tax if your State charges (understand SG no longer give coupon/codes for members).... $199.99 for non-members plus shipping cost.... this code is "only" for first time users......Better deals out there

"COUPON SHIP49 REQUIRES A MINIMUM QUALIFYING MERCHANDISE TOTAL OF $49.00.

YOUR CURRENT QUALIFYING MERCHANDISE TOTAL DOES NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT AND THE COUPON CANNOT BE APPLIED TO THIS ORDER.

PLEASE CONTINUE SHOPPING AND ADD ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING ITEMS TO YOUR CART AND RE-ENTER YOUR COUPON."

it's because SG stopped allowing codes to work with ammo for the most part. a few codes work, but the old days of free shipping or $20 off codes working on ammo are gone. It's why I stopped shopping with them and use brownells instead

Yep, certainly going to curtail my use of them as well.

SHIP49 is for new customers only. If you are or have been a member this code will not work.

I'm having the same problem. It still won't apply the the shipping code!

Not really sure how it's SG's fault that the Wolf Ammo failed.

the photo of ammo box w/ loose rds about it, does show as lacquered. the photo of just the ammo box shows poly. this deal is for polyperformance. no tax, no shipping, 4 pay plan, under .22cents per rd, ordered 3k!

Great deal.... not sure where all the negative comments come from. Have never had issue with SPortmansguide. Buying this deal

I think the issues are over the 'membership'. If you are only buying a few things a year from SPG then the membership fee negates most (or all) of the deal factor.

On the other hand, I buy enough stuff from SPG over the course of a year to go well beyond the cost of the membership (mostly ammo and some surplus stuff). Free ship codes and ammo often make what I'm looking for the cheapest alternative, and when it isn't I don't buy from SPG.

When the Sandy Hook foolishness occurred SPG was one of the few places that did not jack up their prices initially, and all of the back-orders for out of stock ammo I had in were delivered at the pre-insanity prices, usually a case a month, over the course of that next year. Kept me and my range friends flush with low-cost ammo whilst others were charging 3X the price during the madness. None of the nearly dozen cases I had on order were cancelled, like was happening with other vendors who cancelled lower-cost orders in order to resell at a higher price.

Finally, on the few occasions I've needed to deal with SPG CS staff, they've been polite and taken care of my issues quickly and to my satisfaction. All anecdotal experiences, of course.

SG WILL rip you off every time. I would not give them any business.

I've been using them for years, never once ripped off. How exactly do they rip you off every time?

Good catch, was even a buck or two cheaper than that for my shipping address in Ohio.

Wrong image above. This is polymer coated, non neck sealed Wolf, and NOT the lacquer coated stuff that's sealed at the neck and harder to find.

If you are going to buy a case it is cheaper to buy 2 half cases at $105.42 a piece totalling $210.84 vs. this "deal" at $227.97.

With the Russian ruble at half its value $85 a case may be reality in a couple months so I am going to wait before I buy.

It's good to be optimistic, but it's not gonna happen man. I can see 19 cents shipped, but that's about it.

Well its currently 219 on J&G with $32 shipping to MO

It seems to rotate on deal every couple of weeks at J&G. For 209 + shipping I would probably just buy it from sportsmansguide.com with a free shipping coupon (around 237/case i think)

What's the deal withe J&G man? Their shipping is rediculous

Not a deal...J&G regularly has this on sale for $199 + shipping...which runs about $25.

I order nearly all of my Wolf x39 ammo through SPG. Comes double packaged for shipping, usually in about a week to my door. Rarely get backorders on Wolf (as opposed to Silver Bear, or Golden Bear, which is about 50/50). I try to order in conjuction with either a $20 or $25 off coupon, or a free shipping coupon. They have them a few times a month, normally.

"Only" $33 shipping for me, and I don't need to FAX MY PERSONAL INFO to AIM.

I would buy from AIM, but I refuse to FAX my personal information / ID to anyone, so I bought this instead and paid about the same.
