Let's see, a new STI frame sells for $599..... does that mean the slide and barrel are worth $3400?
As close as a 1911 can get to a stock glock.
If stock blocks are so great why do most people buy them and then immediately start replacing parts?
Because gun consumers spend more time buying stuff than shooting. No one adds parts to Glock's to enhance their reliability, just "bling" factor.
Who cares what they do with their money or their guns. Or what brand they choose. People customize Glocks because it's cheap to do and they can make it look and function how they want. No one gives a crap what brand you prefer or what you think of how they customize their firearms.
Thanks. I may have just received a lemon and probably should have sent it back for further repair. I would love to own another STI model but they are just too pricey for me, at the moment.
What's the appeal of a 45acp on a competition gun?
STIs are phenomenal, but full MSRP isn't really a "deal."
I had an STI single stack model that would not cycle even one round. Sent it back to STI and it came back with the same problem. Needless to say, I sold it right after it came back. I suppose that maybe I just got a lemon...based on my experience, I think they are overpriced.
You had an STI, but you can't remember the model?
Since you must know it was a Rogue, not one of their more expensive models, but it still carried their name on it. Yes, I did own one and this was simply my opinion. It was based on personal experience and not heresay and conjecture.
That is liked comparing a v6 mustang to a ford gt. Cost and performance go up in linear fashion. If you never fired one, you don't have a clue.
UHMmmmm let me see- 1 Cent short of 4 Thousand Dollars or a $900.00 Springfield Armory.
oh what a deal ! ill take two ! they will right in my collection next to my Wilson combat 1911's with trijicon sights ....NOT
